The kitchen had every tool, dish, glass needed to cook/eat all of our meals. All 7 of us could linger comfortably around the dining table. Having both the parlor with the gas fireplace and the living room provided us all space for quiet time as needed. We primarily gathered in the living room, taking in views of moody clouds, sheets of rain, rainbows, and all the ship traffic on the Columbia. What a show! It’s got everything you need to cook or just relax. It’s the most well-stocked kitchen of any home we’ve rented. The neighborhood is quiet yet close to all Astoria’s attractions. The views are great—the port, the bridge and the sunset. We love it. Amy is the perfect host as well. ##### Steve W. Beautiful view of the harbor with binoculars lets you see ship’s parked and coast guard exercises nearby. Varieties of flowers and Blackberries bushes were ripe when we were there. Location was close enough to walk to attractions in downtown Astoria House was spacious, historic, and charming and had updates to give it everything you would want. This home is lovely, with river views from multiple rooms. It is decorated with so many nice touches, the kitchen is well stocked, and it is located on a quiet dead-end street while still being close to the river walk and downtown. Best of all was our host Amy-what a friendly and helpful soul! She kindly furnished beach chairs and sand buckets for our trip to the river, and she shared info with my grandson about nearby arcades. ##### Lora N. Visited Astoria with adult children and everyone was delighted with this home away from home! Comfortable and spacious with attention to detail! The host was on location and very accommodating making sure we had everything we could possibly need and giving us advice on local eateries etc. Views of the river from the two living spaces was spectacular to wake up to with a cup of coffee.
