The Harley Hideaway on the Water

You Decide! This newly renovated and uniquely industrialized queen bed/full bath hideaway is situated on a deep-water canal right off the St. John’s River. We are surrounded by Florida's Ocala National Forest and our many beautiful springs. It's a fun retreat with plenty of activities available! Perfect for a single person or a couple. Fishing is awesome! You can fish off the dock in the backyard, on Lake George, Lake Dexter, the St. Johns River or in our many creeks and springs. A photographer’s delight! You will find miles of hiking, and off -road vehicle and horse trails throughout the forest. Bring your boat, kayaks, canoes and golf cart. We have room for your vehicles and trailers on the property. A public boat ramp is only 5 minutes away by road, 10-15 minutes by river. Hunt for deer and wild turkey in season. And in the off season, check out the pistol, rifle and skeet/trap shooting range in the forest. By the way, we are a golf cart community. Bikers, fishers and boaters are welcome!
This tiny home is also within an hour to many of Central Florida’s attractions including Disney, Universal and the beaches on both coasts. And, within a few miles, you can dine at the newly renovated Drifters Bar & Grill (formerly Blackwater Inn), order pizza delivered from Pizza-Over-Yonder and have breakfast or lunch at the Rose Garden or Sparky’s. If you want to eat in, groceries are available from the Triple Z market, Raven's Veggies or the Dollar General Market just a mile away.

Terms:

• Discounts for full week and month(s) stays.
• Maximum stay: 3 months
• Guest agrees to take reasonable care of the premises and will be responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
• Guest agrees to pay for any linen, towels, dishes, kitchen appliances, grill, furniture, landscaping, dockage, etc. that are lost or damaged during his/her stay.
• Guest will be required to clean up house, porch and dock by returning all furniture to its original position.
• If a dog is part of party, Guest will be required to clean up after the dog using waste bags, depositing used waste bags in the outside trash can.
• By contracting with us, Guest acknowledges that the premises has a dock into open water, all of which can be dangerous to unsupervised children and adults who are not careful, or don’t know how to swim.
• Guest will take appropriate precautions for the safety of all guests on premises, especially children. Please pay extra attention regarding the steps, porch and dock that all children and guests use due caution against accidents.
• Guest agrees to assume the risk of injury from the use of these facilities to him/herself and all other guests, whether child or adult.
• Only family or friends of Guest shall be permitted on premises- no sublet or assignment of this agreement is permitted.
• Guest shall be responsible for all guests and any damage caused during the stay, unless caused by Owner or Owner’s representative or agent.
• Guest agrees to lock house when not on premises for security.
• Guest will not park or allow guests to park on front lawn. Please also consider the neighbors on either side, when parking.
• If keys are lost, please notify owner as soon as possible.
• Any problems with the premises shall be reported to owner or designated agent immediately by Guest.
• Guest shall keep trash and garbage in covered containers provided.
• Guest will comply with any reasonable rules established by Owner and provided to Guest.
• Guest will have use of premises during rental period, except for any required repairs, maintenance, governmental inspections, meter readers, lawn maintenance and Owner; all of whom shall be given access, as required.

It was very enjoyable stay. Very clean and quiet stay what we were looking for. We loved the outside area with a great view and using the firepit. Everything we needed was there. Cozy and fun
Jody and Bob are the best hosts we have come across in our Vrbo stays. They are above the rest. Such an aptly named accommodation, this Harley Hideaway is everything and more. We are a wife and husband with kids off to college, so adventure is our new passion. We so enjoyed the accommodations, and Jody and Bob were so helpful in helping us navigate. They even helped us find places around the area to explore and eat at. This little home is so clean and cute, relaxing and invigorating at the same time. The community is filled with great neighbors and so kind and hospitable. We can't wait to go back. The decor made the stay enjoyable and truly provided a relaxing and fun environment. Jody's homemade chocolate chip cookies during check-in, her tour of the place, and the snacks and wine go above and beyond what one can ever expect. Little extra tip, the place they have next door is larger and great for families and fishermen. We personally loved the little Harley Hideaway for us. Thank you Jody and Bob. See you next year.

The Perfect Hideaway!!
WoW, where I we begin? The Harley Hideway was exactly as described. The Harley theme was detailed and spectacular; perfect for me and my husband. The back patio was peaceful, full dock on the canal and easy access to the St. John River. We love the great outdoors so conveniently located to various springs where kayaking is a must, plenty of hiking trails, ziplining, etc. The hosts Jody and Bob were awesome. You can't go wrong!!
