"The owner, Mr. Geo Gambacorta and his son Marco are very kind and helpful. Check-in went very smoothly. + Proximity to Santa Chiara basilica, you can easily take the bus to go aroubd Umbria or to the train station + kitchen is great, you can cook your own meals, it has everything needed, including all kinds of dishes and cutlery + terrace!!!! "The room was new and beautiful, the location is great! The only reason for a 4 is it was a little funky getting into the property. It’s all used by an app to unlock the doors. We had trouble getting in, so we called the phone number provided only to be challenged by the grumpy guy on the phone. Once we figured it all out the stay was great. "

"Overall it was a good place to stay. It’s a very simple place, which is great for Assisi. The biggest issue is the communication from the host. The host sent an email the day we were supposed to check in with crucial info to get in the property. The host didn’t tell us to look out for this email, and we didn’t have data, so we didn’t check our email when Wi-Fi was available. The host should have told us when we made the reservation to expect an email the day of check in."

"This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."

"This is a beautiful apartment and property! The views will knock you out and the place feels so beautifully historic with a gorgeous glamorous rustic design. We loved the animals that the owner had and even let them in for a visit. Someone else mentioned to bring slippers because the floor is cold and I didn't remember but do bring slippers. - It is a little bit of a drive to the town of Assisi but WOW! what a beautiful drive..In any case, we couldn't have enjoyed the place more, we hope to...
