This third floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo features vaulted ceilings, a wood burning, brick surround fireplace, although there is a wood burning fireplace in the condo, however all chimneys in the condo complex are undergoing a safety inspection and cannot be used. The fireplace is out of commission, indefinitely, until further notice. . It has great southern exposure with an abundance of natural light radiating from all the windows. Mirrors are spaced strategically throughout the condo adding to the feeling of openness. The condo has a full kitchen with granite countertops and breakfast bar, a separate dining area nestled in a bay of windows, TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, wireless internet, a washer and dryer and off-street parking. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two twins (can be made into a king). Chateau Chaumont has a perfect location in the downtown core and is just 100 yards from the Aspen Mountain gondola, and Aspen's world class shopping, dining, and skiing are all right outside the door. The building's common courtyard has a wonderful private community hot tub! Call us, and allow McCartney Property Management's guest services to open the door to your Aspen experience! Like many Aspen homes, this unit does not have AC. We provide cooling units and fans, and Colorado's cool summer nights allow the home to cool down naturally in the evenings.Please note: Pets are allowed with a non-refundable pet fee. Not super child friendly as it was very bright in every room. We couldn’t get the tv to work in the living room and asked them about it and never heard back. The other tvs were 15” or in the bedroom with a tall bed so my kids couldn’t climb on to it themselves. We just wanted to watch the Olympics. It was also a little stressful trying to find parking. I know they said they actually had someone in Management in the hospital and apologized for the lack of communication. The property itself was exactly as pictured and was in the perfect location as we love being on the side of town closer to the Ute trailhead. Property management team was easy to get ahold of for check in/out instructions but otherwise we didn’t need to bother them. Stayed here with our 10 month old and the only tricky thing was all the stairs since the condo is on the 3rd floor. We would stay here again! ##### Claire C. Only thing is to plan accordingly for key pickup at an off-sight location. However, convenient to Aspen airport. Everything was clean, kitchen was stocked with essentials but nothing extra. This was fine for us, as we ate out most meals. Parking in the alley can be a challenge, but the management group can register your vehicle with the city , allowing for other nearby residential streets.
