Fabulous Find in Asilah!
Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable hotel one block from the beach and restaurants, walking distance to the medina. Hotel staff are lovely, responsive, and helpful. Could not ask for a better place to stay in Asilah!

Very nice place.
Our only negative on the hotel is that our bed was very hard for our liking. We could not eat dinner there because they did not cater for vegetarians so ate at the restaurant next door and really got ripped off. The place was empty and now we know why!

Loved Al Alba Hotel! Wish I could have extended my stay. Beautifully decorated all in blue. Comfortable room. Great AC and good shower pressure. Pleasant and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Only disappointment was the double booking on my Spa appointment. Since I had a train to catch, I couldn't stay for the later time they offered. Otherwise perfect. Would not hesitate to return. Highest recommendation.

Best hotel in Morocco by far
I've been in Morocco for a little over two weeks and I can honestly say that this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at. There is something so comfortable about Moroccan women, they make you feel so welcome and at home. Every need was attended to with a smile, they even went out of their way to make me lunch one day and they're not even open for lunch. They went above and beyond expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay ladies!

Good for Asilah, but Not Great
The hotel is located about a mile from the heart of Asilah. It's not a beautiful neighborhood, but was passable. The location was fine if you had a car. When you arrive to the hotel, there is no lobby on the entry floor. It takes you straight to a winding staircase to the hotel guest rooms. It's a weird layout. We reserved the rooftop suite, and were glad we did as it was spacious and had a nice rooftop patio. The suite is made for people under 6' tall, be warned. The shower, for instance, requires anyone over 6' to hunch. The entry door to the room has a similar problem, but that is easily overcome as you walk in. They had tiny (almost child sized!( bathrobes for adults which one could barely fold over in front of oneself to close. I'm a size 6 woman, so I can't imagine anyone bigger using these. They were rough to the touch, surely air dried. The decor for the room looks better in photos than in person, but it was fine and quaint. When you arrive, the hotel reception does little to welcome you or give you your bearings, not showing you the wifi code or anything. This was unlike other hotels in Morocco where hotel attendants were very helpful and proactive about offering assistance. According to Fodor's this is a best bet for Asilah, and I sure could not find anything better. Relative to the five other hotels we stayed at in Morocco during our extended visit, this was the least impressive, but for Asilah, I believe this is the best there is.

Nice relaxing stay in Asilah
Parking available outside hotel for guests. Hotel staff were all very friendly and happy to sort out any problems. It was very quiet despite being close to a main road. It took about twenty minutes to walk to the Medina. There were plenty of restaurants in the medina but I chose to eat at the hotel restaurant. The food was some of the best I have had in Morocco. Would certainly visit again and recommend it to friends. There was a nice lounge area with some very useful tourist information of the surrounding rea and towns. Unfortunately there was no English version which little disappointing. I fully understand that being so close to Spain then the information is more than likely to be in Spanish but it is something worth thinking about.

hotel al alba is a great and comfortable place to stay while in Assilah. The staff was very friendly and personable. They helped me celebrate my birthday without even asking! great quiet location. We loved that we could park our car in front too.

We had one night at the Al Alba but would have loved another night. The evening meal was delicious as was the breakfast. Our room was amazing the the hotel decor is stunning, truly Moroccan. The staff could not have been more accommodating. We will definitely go back.

A special gem of a hotel
WE extended our stay to two nights because this was such a nice place. The Hammam was really wonderful. We also enjoyed dinner one night and wonderful breakfasts which were included in the very reasonable prices.

Good place, food OK.
Hotel was good, lighted and contemporary. Our room was nice, had a little view of the ocean. Food was OK. We ordered a dish with Red Lobster but it came with shrimp. they were not willing to reconsider charging ux for that dish. Any way, may be have dinner else where.

Oasis of calm in Morocco
I stayed at the Al Alba for five nights in March, using it as a base to explore northern Morocco. Both the hotel and the town of Asilah itself were like little oases of calm, quiet and order. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, and I had a fantastic time and went away with the feeling that I'd really experienced something special. Morocco often has a reputation in Europe as a place full of noise and hassle, but if you stay at the Al Alba I can promise you a very relaxing time just a few hundred yards away from a lovely sandy beach, and a 20-minute stroll from one of the country's most beautiful medinas. Above all, though, it's the friendliness of the hotel staff that makes this place so attractive. I would definitely recommend it.

Malheureusement nous n'avons pas passé le séjour qu'on espérait, la 'suite' est simplement une chambre avec 3 lits, formalités difficile: il fallait 40 minutes de négociations avant qu'on avait accès à notre chambre er ce parce que nous n'avions pas notre acte de mariage avec nous. Le WiFi ne fonctionnait pas, la télé non plus... Nous avons écrit 3 mails er ont téléphoné 3 fois afin de régler notre voyage (car nous voyageons avec une fille handicapée). Jamais aucune réponse! Grand problème de communication! C'est un fait certain que nous n'y retournerons plus jamais!

不好意思没有及时评论。定了酒店最高层的套房。房间很大，床很舒服，有阳台能够看到大西洋。服务很好早餐很好吃，步行海边5分钟，步行至麦地那15分钟。很愉快的住宿体验。

its very small room for two person charged 70€(no breakfast either), Bottle water need pay 1€. When i used hairdry after few minute it has burn smell, i have been Morocco 13days, this hotel which just too over charge of value.

外観は普通の住宅かと思ったのですが、中は星・青・白を基調とした素敵な空間でした。 チェックイン時は、まず部屋に通され一休みしてから手続きをしました。 スタッフの対応もよく、ランドリーも時間通り仕上げてくれました。 客室も広く清潔で、wi-fi環境もgood！ 窓が多く、天井が高めの開放的な部屋でした。 バスルームも清潔でしたが、シャワーとトイレが対面しているので、 気を付けて浴びないとトイレとトイレットペーパーが水浸しになります。 水圧、温度ともにgoodです。 朝食も美味しく、大満足！

Une pause relaxante à Asilah
Après un périple de près d'un mois au Maroc, nous nous sommes posés 3 jours (2 nuits) à Asilah). Le choix d'Al Alba a été judicieux car tout était parfait. La plage est à 2mn de l'hôtel et la ville à environ 15' à pied. Autre établissement remarquable à Asilah = le restaurant chez Pépé en face des murs de la Médina

Ein sehr klasse Hotel....
Ein super Hotel, super Küche mit tollem Menue. Das Essen war eine Vrwoehnung fuer den Gaumen und sehr raffiniert angereicht...Leider konnte ich nur eine Nacht bleiben.Personal nett und hilfsbereit alles sehr familiär und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Nous avons eu du mal a trouvé le lieu . La personne à l accueil semblait perdue et étonnée de notre arrivée alors que nous étions sur le listing... Je pensais trouvé une structure certes petite, mais ressemblant à un hotel... Cet établissement , pour moi est plus une maison d hôtes , la maison est mitoyenne , la vu de la chambre donne sur la clim des voisins et l autre fenêtre sur un terrain sale. La chambre est mignonne mais petite et il n y a pas de télévision, c est un peu limite pour un 4 étoiles. Nous ne sommes pas restés, je ne me sentais pas à l aise , trop enfermé pour partager cette chambre de 4 couchages avec mon mari et mes 2 enfants, sans compter le supplément à payer ...Nous sommes rentrés directement sur Marrakech. Dommage car nous avions réglé 260 euros.
