I had to take my elderly in-laws out of town for a few days and this worked out so much better than a hotel. There is one queen bedroom on the main floor and the other three bedrooms are upstairs. The location is great for walking to all the little shops, pubs and marinas around the draw bridge, though you do have to walk back up one hill. The host was amazing. The home is so clean and inviting. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and hanging out together in the living room. The bedrooms and bathrooms were absolutely perfect for our group! We enjoyed the backyard, and the house made a great place to relax, tour the local wineries, and go to the beach! The beach is only 1/2 mile away, and it’s a very family friendly area. We had a great time in the town of Ashtabula Harbor and got to see the bridge in action several times. A couple of things to keep in mind if you stay here: the upstairs bedrooms get warm (it was near 90 degrees) so you may want to bring a fan, and the house is a big hill above the town (and two big hills above the beach) so even though it’s only a block from the adorable shops, it’s not really walkable for most people!!
