"This is a real gem. A tranquil oasis after a long day on the road. Absolutely charming lodgings surrounded by lovely gardens, as well as a koi pond, hot tub and pool fed by mineral springs. There's even a fire pit and a wine garden. When we arrived we relaxed in the tea room with complimentary treats: a choice of teas, scones ( the best) and butter cookies and strawberries. I really appreciated the thoughtful amenities in the room as well. There is a large soaker tub to enjoy the mineral baths in the privacy of your own room. I really hope I can come back and stay longer next time. A spa is part of the property and looks very inviting. Highly recommended!! "

"We liked our clean, non-smoking pet-friendly room on the ground floor. Ample parking. Easy walk to downtown Ashland. Nice nearby coffee shop for breakfast. "

"We had a lovely stay at this very charming hotel. Our room with 2 queens was really spacious and clean. Traditional decor, comfortable and crisp white bedding, great shower water pressure are all a plus. Only suggestion is to improve the lighting in the bathroom, as it was a bit dark. Also wish the hot tub had been opened. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast and outdoor dining patio. Free parking. Excellent location in beautiful downtown Ashland and walkable to everything. Will stay again!"

"We stay at Stratford Inn everytime we visit Ashland. Friendly staff and its an easy walk to everything in downtown Ashland. The shower has great water pressure and our room is always clean. "
