Pull out sofa sleeper in living room. Backyard deck with grill to enjoy the temperate Chequamegon Bay Area. Additional basement area with large sectional for relaxing. Table in basement to use for cards and board games. Washer and Dryer, full kitchen included. Two bicycles, along with a tandem bicycle are included with rental. Quiet street a short walk or drive into town. The town was pretty dead at least during the week but that made parking and getting around easy, and I was driving to Bayfield and Copper Falls and other spots during my stay anyway. The home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable and most importantly the number one thing I look for is that it was clean. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need if you were to cook, large bathroom with everything you need as well, and very comfortable beds. We enjoyed the town of Ashland and visiting Maslowski Beach, the tour of murals, the Apostle Islands Boat tour in Bayfield, Copper Falls both a short drive away. We also, really enjoyed eating at Chequamegon Family Restaurant and absolutely do not miss Taqueria La Monarca for outstanding Mexican food or Gabriele's German Sweets for a cookie and truffles.The home is older but so well done on the inside, the basement was a little musty but we spent our time upstairs so I would absolutely stay here again. The landscaping needs a little work as there was poison ivy near the stairs but again, not a deterrent, it was still a great place to stay. Everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable star was included at the property. We were also impressed by the friendly and quiet neighborhood. Felt very secure and welcoming. The back deck area was wonderful on those cool mornings around 60F for sipping on a cup of coffee and watching the pigeons. The grill was great for grilling our chicken we had on day two of our stay.
