"The rooms are a little old but really big. For an in room onsen, it’s value for money and there’s no complaints. The toiletries were great. It’s hard to get to the hotel after dark so you’d need a taxi for that. Thankfully taxi prices are affordable from hakone Yumoto station. "

"We booked the condominiums as a treat. Spacious by Japanese standards with two large single beds, large sofa and kitchen facilities. Highlight is the bathroom with your private “onsen” the bath runs constantly with warm water from the hot springs. Divine after a long day. Coffee machines, soda machines, ice pops, foot bath, fire pit and free whisky, sangria and beer from 7pm - 10pm with some small sweet treats. A short flat stroll from Gora station makes this a perfect place to stay to explore the Hakone area."

"This hotel was beautifully designed, clean and friendly staff. The dinner and breakfast buffet were full of a delicious variety of dishes. We chose the cable cars to get there which was a fantastic way of exploring the area from above, but the hotel’s shuttle was super convenient for our departure. "
