This weekend we camping at Point Farms Provincial Park off of Lake Huron. It's our first time here and the beach is enormous!!! I highly recommend visiting this place as its great for families. White sandy beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see. Water is cold but refreshing with only a little bit of seaweed. The shallow end extends quite far out giving you lots of room to have fun without getting in anyone's way. Bugs aren't too bad either. There is no firewood available within the park but a 30 second drive north outside the park marks a small variety store where you can buy all your camping needs such as fire starters, wood, kindling, and so on. The closest grocery store is about a 20 minute drive south towards Goderich called Zehers. From the moment we walked in, we were wowed by the lake views. The cottage is beautiful and had everything we needed. All of the furnishings and fixtures were good quality, which for me made the whole experience even better. We spent lots of time at the beach swimming, kayaking, and watching sunsets (which were never the same twice). We also loved being out on the balcony. It had amazing views of the lake, and we loved reading out there. We really had the best time! ##### Melanie M. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as advertised. We had no problems for the length of our trip. The kids loved walking along the beach (there is a perfect creek to explore about a 150minute walk away) and playing in the water. Being only a 10-minute drive from Goderich allowed us to explore the town and visit the Museum and Historic Gaol as well. The Lookout gave us a fantastic break and we were all relaxed and happy all week. Note: they aren't lying about the stairs. Our 10 y.o. counted 72 stairs from the parking to the cottage and a further 32 stairs down to the beach. It wasn't a problem for any of us but could be a problem for anybody with mobility issues. ##### Jonathan R.
