I feel like the building is probably old, but you can tell they’ve made updates to the rooms. The parking lot is a little small towards the back so that could be hard parking a larger vehicle, in my opinion, but we had plenty of parking towards the front. This was the quickest and easiest check-in I’ve ever had. I think it was probably the property owner who checked me in and he was super nice! Room and bathroom were spotless. But it goes down from there. The stairs up to the second floor are rusty and look like they’re in need of repair. There isn’t a light near the bed, so I had to use my phone’s flashlight to get from the bathroom to the bed. The hinged bathroom door was replaced with an accordion-folding door that was difficult to secure and the remodeling work to install it was cheesy. The light fixture above the toilet was broken with giant cracks running along its diameter. It looked like it would fall apart and spread glass pieces all over the toilet of someone touched it. Also, there was no place to hang wet towels. The blackout curtains did the trick to help us sleep along with the comfortable bed.
