Each room offers a serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The property boasts a wonderful blend of comfort and style, ensuring a gorgeous stay for all. Experience what Asheville has to offer with a stay at our house. 5 Bedrooms | 3,400 Sq Ft | Mountain View | Fire Pit | New Furnishings & Mattresses | Super Clean Be our GUEST at THE NEST! This group-friendly mountain home is great for gathering with friends and family to celebrate birthdays, engagements, and anniversaries, or to attend a nearby wedding, as well as bachelor/ bachelorette weekends, church and business retreats, and high school and college reunions! Or just enjoy a reprieve from the pressures of everyday life in this refreshingly clean house. Private, work-friendly desk spaces if members of your group need to slip away now and then to tend to work or school. Strict maximum of 16 guests. OUTDOOR LIVING Cozy up to the beautiful large-boulder fire pit! Adults enjoy the peace of mind of the large, private fenced-in backyard, safe for kids. Zipline, fire pit, ninja obstacle course, giant tree swing, toddler swing, deck. Note that the treehouse was damaged during Hurricane Helene at the end of September 2024 and is no longer accessible to guests. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS See pictures of floorplan for layout. Bedroom 1 | The Pelican Sleeps 4 (1 King bed & 2 Twin Beds) \+ Standard Crib Bistro table and upholstered chairs for laptop-friendly workspace. Tranquil pale blue accents amidst a delicate backdrop of neutral tones. Spacious walk-in closet caringly transformed into an elegant nursery with warm gold canopy crib and plush upholstered rocking chair. Crib cannot be moved to another room. Crib sheets not provided. There are no windows which helps for daytime naps! This is the primary bedroom with a bathroom attached. Bedroom 2 | The Raven Sleeps 6 (2 Queen beds, twin day bed, twin trundle bed) Distressed brown and black wood secretary desk for laptop-friendly workspace. Vintage black, pristine white, and burlap. Bedroom 3 | The Aviary Sleeps 2 (Queen bed) Antique white with coral and sage accents. There is a door directly from this bedroom into the hall bathroom, which can also be accessed from the hallway on the other side. Bedroom 4 | The Peacock Sleeps 2 (Queen bed) Round mirrored table and upholstered chairs for compact laptop-friendly workspace. Casual linen with luxurious peacock blue. Bedroom 5 | The Flamingo Sleeps 2 (Full bed) 19th C. French iron secretary desk for laptop-friendly workspace. Blush and steel. The bathroom is directly across the hall from this bedroom. Additional sleeping for diverse dynamics: Queen air mattress (stored in game closet in upstairs hallway) Twin rollaway bed (stored in bedroom closet) Large sectional couch (in living room on main level) INDOOR LIVING Free WiFi, flat-screen Smart TV (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime), gas fireplace (available October through March), large sectional couch, full-sized electric piano, game room with air hockey, stand-up arcade machine, and Foosball, board game collection (including Asheville-opoly), 2 dining tables for ample seating, spacious walk-in closet in master bath, central heating & A/C KITCHEN Fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, cooking essentials, refrigerator/ freezer with icemaker, full-sized stove/oven, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, traditional 12-cup coffee maker, Keurig coffee machine, blender, hand mixer, Bosch dishwasher, tableware (plates, glassware, stemware & utensils) BATH & LAUNDRY Bed linens/towels, full-sized washer/dryer (detergent provided, but bring your own if you have brand preferences), iron & ironing board, complimentary toiletries (again, bring your own if you have brand preferences), hair dryer, trash bags, and paper towels. With our tankless water heater, even the last person out of bed gets a hot shower! GETTING HERE This peaceful 4-house neighborhood sits on a private road, less than 9 miles from major sites like The Biltmore Estate and Downtown Asheville. There are no treacherous, windy, twisty, edge-of-cliff mountain roads to get here! It is right off flat main roads. No need to worry! There are no major drop-offs or hard-to-navigate situations! Unlike many STR's in the Asheville area, you won't be gripping the steering wheel with white knuckles or sweating at the brow to get to The Nest! PARKING Garage (2 vehicles), driveway space (4 vehicles), additional overflow parking lot nearby. We are not able to accommodate oversized or heavy work vehicles like dump trucks. Work crews, please find other arrangements for your construction vehicles. SUPER CLEAN WITH THE GUEST IN MIND With your health and well-being in mind, The Nest is thoroughly cleaned by the same professionals before each check-in! The Nest is about a mile outside the Asheville city limits. Asheville laws do not allow people inside city limits to rent out their entire house exclusively as a short-term rental. Legally, it must be their primary residence that they rent when they're out of town, for instance. The Nest is exclusively a rental home, so you won't find personal photos on the walls, used toothpaste in the bathroom drawers, or half-used mustard in the fridge. Due to sanitation and safety, we do not provide grills at our properties. There is a full-size crib (sheet not provided) and guests are welcome to bring pack-n-plays. ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATIONS We have a strict maximum guest count of 16 at each of our properties. If you need even more space, check out our other offerings! The Hive, which also sleeps 16, is located directly next door to The Nest. Additionally, The Corral (by request only) is directly across from The Nest! We are looking forward to hosting your group!
