The living room has a flat screen tv with a lounging chair, 2 wing back chairs and a pull out queen bed with memory foam mattress. Beside the living room is a small room for the family to share time together and play board games. A large den has a couch and love seat that have recliners that offer a very comfortable time to watch the flat screen smart tv on cable or with your own acct. There is a large dining room with a table for 8-10 that has views of the back yard where turkeys pass by frequently. The back deck also has a grill and outdoor table and chairs for your outdoor entertaining. There is a fire pit (with wood provided), outdoor seating and outdoor bathroom facility. The house has 3 bedrooms with beds that have memory foam for comfort. One living room has a queen pull out bed with memory foam mattress. The sheets are luxury cotton and the comforters are designer. The baths are stocked with towels, washcloths and hand soap. Last but not least, the kitchen is easy and comfortable for preparing your meals. Every gadget, pot, pan, and dish has been considered. There is a single brew or pot brew coffee maker and coffee, dishwasher, microwave and breakfast table. There is also a lot of cabinet space for groceries. This house also has a utility room with a washer and dryer and is stocked with laundry supplies. There is also a steam iron and regular iron and ironing board in the master bedroom. Location: This home is a great location when staying in Asheville. We are within a mile of the Parkway, the N.C. Arboretum, the Biltmore Outlets and I40\. We are 6-10 miles from The Biltmore House, and the exciting venues of downtown Asheville. This house is also only a few miles from the Asheville Airport and the WNC Agricultural Center where many events are held. We are only a few miles from Sierra Nevada and Belgium Brewery. Bent Creek bike trails are 2 miles away and bike rentals are available1/2 mile away on Brevard Rd. Also consider tubing with Zen Tubing or fishing with or without a guide on the very close French Broad River! Things you will love about this property also are that it is situated on several acres with some trails in the wooded areas. Turkeys, bear and other wildlife may be seen on occasion. It is so convenient yet private with an open yard to have outdoor fun or sit around the firepit and enjoy peaceful time with your family and friends. Some great restaurants are within 1mile and you can dine in or use their very convenient take service. Things to highlight about our property. Rooms have shudders to block the light or for your privacy. The configuration of the house gives several areas for those staying to congregate together or spread out for kids, ladies group and teens, guys to watch a football game etc. You will love the convenience of the location to most anywhere you want to go. We loved the large, gently sloping and mowed yard, especially chasing after fireflies in the evenings! The location was perfect for us--very convenient to points of interest and near the family we were visiting too! We enjoyed the firepit out back as well. Very clean and comfortable It looks like beautiful original hardwood in the doors, flooring and kitchen that have been well maintained or professionally restored. Bent Creek mountain bike trails are very close (we rode from the house one day) and very close to town and other attractions. It’s set in a quiet location just off the highway and has plenty of space for the entire family with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. House is great and host provided many add ons like coffee, filters, etc. Only negative item was there was bags of trash in the garage (probably left by former guests) and they really stunk. The house was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. Outside space was also nice especially the fire pit and the deck. Only thing that we would change is the kitchen. The range and cabinets in the middle of the room made it a bit difficult to prepare meals...especially with more than one person in the room. The property comfortably accommodates 6-8 guests and offers a sense of seclusion while being conveniently located near attractions like the Frying Pan Tower and numerous hiking trails. We spent an entire day hiking and were delighted to find the property just a short 10-minute drive away. The house features two living areas with TVs, ensuring everyone can relax and enjoy their downtime. The surrounding area also offers plenty of dining options and an outlet mall for shopping enthusiasts.
