Your own private entrance, deck, suite, spa bath, double shower, lounging area, eating area, and fire pit for our guests.

Our guests confirm that WE ARE CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!

As we move into our tenth year with Vacation Rentals, our goal remains the same: To provide our guests with a safe location to stay and super clean accommodations. We use the recommendations of the CDC for disinfecting between each visiting guest. We use plush towels, hand towels, and wash cloths.

We have three new features to ensure our guests have an exceptional time in Asheville. First, we have added a fire pit with supplied fire wood provided as an optional feature and for a slight additional fee. Second, we now have a whole house generator so our guests have an uninterrupted power source while here. And, third, we just installed a new mini-split air conditioning unit so guests have complete control over their room temperature and can be comfortable year around.

When you stay with us, we look out for you…we turn on extra lights when you come and go and we’ll help you with anything you might need while you’re here. As many of our guests have stated in their reviews, we are close and easily accessible to everything in the Asheville area. In addition to Asheville, we’re midway between Black Mountain and Cherokee in the Great Smoky Mountains. Many of our guests have commented that our suite is bigger than the picture looks – it is over 500 square feet! We offer high-end bedding with a NEW pillow-top mattress, separate seating area, a dining table, hotel quality bath linens and bath amenities, large spa tub bath and separate double shower, and private deck/porch with lovely views of the mountains. Paved entrance and reserved parking allow guests to come & go as they please. For your entertainment while lounging in your seating area or from your bed, we offer Charter Spectrum Live Streaming Television, Hulu, Prime Video, Paramount Plus, and others. For your listening pleasure, Spectrum offers multiple music channels, and free WIFI. Also in the suite is a DVD player, microwave oven, Keurig Coffee Maker, and refrigerator/freezer. Uber Cab and Lyfte are available to and from the location at 72 Candler Knob Road, Asheville. 28806. We have well over 300 five-star reviews from VRBO and other rental sites. We loved our stay at Top of the Knob! The view from the cabin was lovely, and the inside was very comfortable. We loved the soft bed, and the two shower heads were awesome. Patti and Ken were great as well - so communicative and accommodating! We would recommend it to anyone visiting Asheville.

Great stay, the host were more than commendating with great communication. Loved the jetted tube, comfortable king bed, double showers and fire pit. The cost of the fire wood is an addictional 20 so keep that in mind. There is a door at the end of the hallway that conjoins the space to the main home but no issues with them using it, just to keep in mind. Parking was not too bad once you do it the first time, I recommend you back into the parking space once your drive in, so your car is facing the exit to make things easier upon departure each time.

Ken and Patty greeted us with a warm welcome and were eager to share recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The cabin was absolutely perfect—just like our hosts—and gave us true Adirondack vibes. On our last day, it even snowed, and through the falling flakes emerged the most beautiful sunrise.

This was a great place to stay for a little weekend getaway. Ken and Patty were very kind & helpful getting us settled in and giving recommendations for our weekend. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location made it easy for us to access where we wanted to visit in Asheville while also being a good place to rest. Note that there is not the best sound-proofing between the room and the main house, so we did hear a bit, mainly during the day/evening. It wasn't super disruptive, but may be helpful to know for others exploring a place to stay.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. Ken and Patti were friendly, attentive hosts and very responsive. The space was very clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the AC unit worked well and was really quiet. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and the nicely landscaped yard.

A Gem of a Place

It's a lovely bnb, truly living up to it's name "Top of the Knob". I found the driveway a little intimidating getting in and out but it was worth the effort. Loved all the little touches that made it so nice. The hot tub was a true bonus and having a makeup mirror was also a treat . Great advice in finding groceries and on my department to Downtown Ashville. Wonderful hosts!

Beautiful Serene Home Close to Downtown Asheville

We had a lovely stay here this past weekend. Patti and Ken were waiting for us when we pulled up and were very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed, after that we really didn’t see them, which was nice because it felt private. It’s very peaceful, and the scenery is amazing. The place had everything we could need and was very spacious with good wifi, too. We mostly just used this place as a place to sleep, so it was very convenient how close it was to downtown and other outdoor activities.

Oasis in Asheville

This place was perfect for a single lady traveling solo. It was immaculate and very comfortable. The outside spaces to just sit and relax were so peaceful and a great place to enjoy a good book. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. All needed amenities were provided. A quiet and beautiful place to retreat to after a busy day visiting the sites in Asheville.

Spring Get Away

The location was great for our stay- close to the Biltmore and Arboretum. The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable . The landscaping was full of spring blooms. The owners were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for sites to see and restaurants to partake. Although it was not a problem, the property is connected to the owner’s main house.

Wonderful place to stay

Everything was so nice even though I went at a time when it was cold (March). Only drawback was that the driveway was very steep and my vehicle was unable to make the sharp turn to enter the property. No problems, though, as the owners explained how to do it. Would recommend this place to others.

Fantastic visit!

The place was just as described and easy to find. Even though it’s in a neighborhood it felt very private. Exceptionally clean and set up perfect for a place to hang out and sleep when we weren’t touring the area. Will definitely re-book the next time we’re headed to Asheville.
