It was exactly as described and easy to find. Aside from a small issue obtaining the key, our stay was perfect. There is a steep driveway to walk up to get to the porch, but it’s not a far walk. I was able to park here and easily get Uber back and forth to town. Everything is clean and just as pictured. I had everything I needed. Check in was not so smooth, which is why the lower rating. No key was left and I had to wait an hour for a reply to be able to get in. After that, I had no issues. I had some deer visit in the morning which I loved seeing. ##### Amy H. It met all our needs with a very comfortable bed, a nice liviing area space with TV, a small kitchenette area and a clean bathrrom, and the extra of the screeened in porch. When I think of a view in Asheville, I think mountains and forests. The view from the unit is of the bushes covering the screen porch in front. There is a small wooded area to the side of the porch. We did see deer and turkeys in the yard when we were outside. The fireplace is the focal point of the room, and it doesn't work. When I asked Angie about it she said the previous guest must have cut the gas at the logs, implying she wasn't aware it wasn't working and would look at it. Then she said the gas company came out and couldn't get it going and had to order a part so she turned off the logs, and blamed the previous guest. I checked the reviews and a guest in September said they were very disappointed that the fireplace didn't work. We stayed Oct 8-11\. The fireplace could have been fixed in that time but wasn't. We weren't notified it wasn't working prior to checking in, given an opportunity to make other accommodation arrangements, and when we noticed it wasn't working, a previous guest was blamed. If the fireplace is important to you, I would verify with Angie prior to check-in that it is working. ##### Kathie A.
