The cabin and amenities were top notch. Beautiful cabin and scenery. But the road and driveway where we were supposed to park were iced over and we were not able to use the driveway to park. The walkway to the cabin was iced over and we had to chip a path through the ice to get to the cabin. It was very treacherous. We asked about the conditions before the trip and the host did not know the conditions. When told, he said the maid service might come put some salt down to help the situation but later said they were not going to come put some salt down. He did not know the condition of the roads or if they were drivable or not. I would have thought a premium host would know the conditions of the area they rent a cabin and if they needed to cancel or postpone someone’s trip because of the dangerous conditions. The cabin was wonderful but the host not so much. Also on the top floor, when the wind is blowing, there is a very loud noise I am assuming coming from the wind blowing against the doors- so loud, it is impossible to sleep on the futon bed.
