Large rooms, open kitchen and dining area for cozy gathering and enjoying meals and football games on several large TVs. The owner/manager thought of every detail! You have to step out on the back deck overlooking the mountains and sit at the wonderful firepit to understand how great it is. The layout is wonderful, open concept, and made for an amazing and cozy atmosphere for friends vacationing together. Great communication from the team and the house was clean and lovely. Perhaps the highlight is the location. The view was extraordinary. Sunrise was a delight to watch over the mountains in the distance. Itā€™s worth it just for the view. When walking in the front door, you see the fantastic view out the back to a green, mountain vista. WOW. That view was beautiful no matter the weather and just sitting out on that porch listening to the wind blow and birds sing... magical. The priperty has more than enough space for three different groups of people to have their own spaces for conversations- upstairs tv room, downstairs living room and a huge outside porch. The open plan kitchen and dining room make dinner a snap and all of this country quiet within 15 minutes of ashevile and a couple minutes to the grocery store. ##### gabriella t. House was very well stocked and equipped to meet all of our needs during meals enjoyed at home. The two king bedrooms with ensuites are nearly equal and perfect for two sets of couples with kids enjoying the spacious accommodations upstairs! The views are amazing from the back deck. Very enjoyable and would rent again if back up power or heat source is made available in the event of power outage since the location, while convenient to the city, is fairly remote. We did not experience a winter storm but that could be an issue given the single lane access road that winds up the mountainside to get to the property. Our adult children, their spouses and first grandchild (9months) stayed with us. The upstairs area with the crib was excellent for our daughter, son-in-law and grandchild. They were able to be up early without the rest of us being disturbed. The living area was perfect for our granddaughter to crawl around and explore. Plenty of towels. Bathrooms could have more towel bars or hooks. The large deck in back was perfect for morning coffee and just relaxing or reading a good book. Dining room plenty of seating for dinig together and for a fun eveng of cards and games. ʁedroom are great, lots of closet spaces. We so enjoyed seeing bear on several occasions and got some great pics from the front porch. The book of instructions was very complete and helpful. The house is in fantastic shapeā€¦ roomy, neat, and well-furnished. The view from the deck is fantastic. We couldnā€™t use the grill because of bears in the area, but the kitchen was great for preparing meals. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the internet speeds were more than sufficient for everyone simultaneously, and all of the TVā€™s were large, modern, and great for watching football games. The bed linens and towels were excellent. The only suggestions we have for the hosts are to consider supplying more paper towels and paper napkins, providing some cloth towels for the kitchen, and using an unscented laundry detergent (my wife thought the linens were a little too scented). The location of the house to both downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway is amazing, and the view of the back porch is spectacular. The house has the most well-stocked kitchen weā€™ve ever encountered, and there are so many other touches for traveling families (high chair, baby gate, crib, bunk beds, plenty of games, etc.) that make a huge difference in aggregate. The house is beautiful, well thought-out and quite spacious (good sized bedrooms, large bathrooms/closets, two separate living spaces, big back porch). The hosts are very communicative and everything was very well labeled and easy to find. We absolutely LOVED our stay here and canā€™t wait to come back! ##### Becca S.
