Most importantly for us, it felt like it was away from things but was easy to get where we wanted. The river and a nice park was a short walk, and a coffee shop not too much further. Downtown Asheville was a short easy drive. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Short easy drive yet removed from the busy hustle of Asheville. The house was roomy and comfortable which was great for our group of 6 ladies. The only real issue we had was that the stove didn't work. We reported that to the owner, but it wasn't addressed during our stay.
