This is an older hotel but the location is great for walking to town. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Very dated and worn, toilet water coming on periodically from flapper leaking, elevator miter humming though the building every time it was used, pop corn ceilings, desperately in need of renovation.

Nice hotel convenient to downtown shops and galleries. Close to Biltmore and River Arts district. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Restaurant on premises was excellent as so nice to have after a long day of walking.

my room was on highway aside. the traffic was loud! the walls are thin. the tv in the next room could be heard loudly in my room. the staff was amazing!

The location has been the deciding factor for both of my stays there. Easy access to major roads, a large free parking lot and simply cross one street and you begin your walking tour of Asheville’s historic downtown area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A 5th star would be achieved if they included a nice breakfast Buffett .

The staff were very helpful and kind. I do think the pics online are a little misleading as we expected it to be a bit fancier but other than being a little dated it was a nice hotel and very clean. We were able to walk anywhere we wanted. Nothing was more than a 15-20 min walk. I’d recommend and we will definitely stay here again.

Didn't like the homeless guy asking for a cigarette appreciated my vehicle parked right at the entrance. The hotel and restaurant need an update with the prices being asked. Friendly staff was the best part.

We had a room on the 3rd floor that looked straight onto a roof. I felt like I was in a basement apartment in college. The decor, furniture, and lighting are outdated. The bathroom is tiny. On the plus side: easy parking, dining option - the Chop House and Bar is good, it is really close to downtown (2-3 blocks) with lots of restaurants, breweries, and retail, etc. The BEST thing about this place is its people. They are so kind and accommodating. Everyone had a smile on their faces. It’s not the Ritz, but overall it was a nice four night stay.

We stayed on ground level in a handicap room that had apparently recently been update by changing to a wider door. We had no safety latch and the deadbolt did not line up to work. We could not change rooms as they were booked and no one bothered to come look at the door after we brought up our concern.

A Bargain, but could use some TLC
This Four Points is...fine. Staff are good and friendly. Parking didn't cost a fee, and it's walkable in Downtown Asheville. No, it's not the most up-to-date, but the price ir right.

It’s an older hotel, so if you’re a light sleeper, you will hear doors closing on from the floors above you, below you and definitely on your floor. If you are on the highway side, you will hear the cars driving. Breakfast wasn’t even included for $303 /night.

The smoke alarm would beep every morning for two mornings. The battery needed to be changed. Then the third night evening a bug was in my bed and crawling on my leg. Thank God it wasn’t a bed bug!!

Convenient Location with Great Staff
The staff were amazing. The assistant manager Leslie was so helpful and accommodating. It was my birthday weekend and the staff were extra lovely to me! The breakfast buffet was tasty. The hot cocoa “bar” for guests was delightful. The air conditioner in the room was rattling and very loud, the bathroom light fixtures were rusty and the wallpaper in the bathroom was a mess along with the caulking. Realizing it’s an older building, the maintenance just needs to be upped to give the building more attention. Great location to downtown Asheville - close to everything! Bar onsite was quiet and comfortable and a great place to hang out.
