If it was located somewhere other than right at our cabin, it’d be helpful to provide that information. The dryer stopped & wouldn’t power back on in the middle of drying 1 small load of laundry. I texted the property manager, as requested, but didn’t get a response until the next day. She said her phone had broken the day before, so I certainly can’t fault her for that. But I would suggest having a second phone number that can be called/texted in such cases. Also, the mattress protector was pee-stained, which I noticed when we took the sheets off before we left. I’d definitely recommend replacing it. The cabin was very clean & comfortable. We appreciate the efforts that go into maintaining it. We were hoping to have more downtime to spend there just relaxing, but unfortunately didn’t get to do that much. We had everything we needed. "Chef's Kitchen" might be a bit of a stretch but you can cook and bake just about anything your heart's desire. Outdoor grill and fire pit is a great amenity. Although we only had one night that was cool enough for us to have a fire in the pit. It is off the beaten path a little and was quiet, except for the wonderful sounds of nature (bullfrog in a nearby pond, birds, and a turkey). It might be a little challenging to find at night on arrival. After that, no problem night or day. It is an easy few minutes to downtown Asheville. The weekend flew by too quickly.
