I did take my two dogs and it was a comfortable stay for all of us. Two notes about bringing dogs - we sighted a bear twice in the yard near the cabin so if you need to take your dogs out for a potty break at night, be aware. Also, the trail is so close by - just up the road with is fabulous. It is a narrow trail (as most are) and there were a lot of people and dogs on the trail so if your dog cannot pass politely by another dog (this would be one of my dogs!) then this is not the trail for you. The owner was very receptive to my questions and really made an effort to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The road to the cabin is not paved but no issues at all driving on it.
