We are a 2 minute drive from Point Lookout Vineyards and World\`s Edge Meadery, 15 minute drive to downtown Hendersonville, & 45 minute drive to Asheville. This thoughtfully curated 2 bedroom/2 bathroom home features all the comforts of modern life with the privacy and tranquility of life in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Every detail from the ensuite bathrooms to the multiple throw blankets and smart TVs ensures your stay is perfection. Custom details that include open shelving in the well-equipped kitchen, multiple living spaces, tasteful décor and furnishings, comfortable memory foam mattresses (with extra toppers) and high-quality linens, smart TVs, gas logs fireplace, hot tub and fire pit all combine to create a vacation property that will provide for every need. Every light switch is labeled, each bathroom is stocked with necessities, and the location is perfect for those wanting a quiet retreat with easy access to all that Western North Carolina has to offer. \--------------------------------------------------- The highlights in the house include: The twin bed sized porch swing where you can listen to the birds and view the mountains; the daybed sized dining bench that catches all the perfect afternoon light through large double windows at the kitchen table so you can read and relax or have a meal; the 3 comfy couches in both the living room and the loft where you can sit and enjoy the views or TV; the King bed upstairs with a work space for privacy and extra large closet to fit a porta-crib/pack-n-play (provided); the Queen bedroom with double closets; the easy-to-spot-everything kitchen in the open floor plan; and the hot tub and fire pit area where everyone will want to hang out at the end of the day with a glass of wine after hiking or exploring. This cabin offers everything you could ask for in a mountain retreat. GPS and a car will get you anywhere you want to go unless you plan to bring your mountain bike! Parking is easy, as the driveway can fit up to 4 vehicles comfortably. We have been Superhosts for over 5 years, and built this cabin to be exactly what our guests love and desire in a mountain vacation rental. We are always a call or text away, and pride ourselves on being extremely responsive to guest\`s needs. We always have someone available for emergencies to ensure our guests are taken care of. Can it get any better than being a walk or short drive to one of the best and most scenic vineyards in Hendersonville? We are conveniently located just up the street from Point Lookout Vineyards and World\`s Edge Meadery. On the weekends they have food trucks and often live music, and are always a perfect spot for a picnic at their Lodge. The views here are unbeatable! Our neighborhood is quiet and spread out, and many of our neighbors enjoy recreational target shooting. So you may hear them on occasion as well as another neighbor\`s chickens and rooster! Its a true southern mountain neighborhood. The driveway is half paved, so there is only a short portion of the drive that is gravel. No need for a 4-wheel drive vehicle. You will need a car to get everywhere, and your GPS should help you get wherever you want to go, including hiking spots! Depending on your carrier, cell phone service can sometimes be a bit spotty in the mountains, but you have Wifi at the house to help you plan ahead and make calls. The first half of the driveway is NOT paved, but the second half is. There is no need for 4-wheel drive, but sometimes the front of the drive gets washed out a bit, so you may need to go fast up the first part so you don\`t have any issues. We are on a mountain, so the driveway gets steep, but that portion is paved. We have also included lighted solar lights along the drive to help you see at night. Absolutely 🚭 NO SMOKING anywhere on the property 🐕 Dogs allowed, with pet fee ($75 per dog) and all pet rules followed: must be crated when left, leashed when outside, poop must be picked up, dogs cannot be left on porch, confined in a bathroom, or in basement. This was the perfect cabin for our girl's trip. It is in a great location, close to so many things to do. The cabin was super clean and decorated so tastefully. The front porch and hot tub were something we looked forward to everyday after a long day of sightseeing. We found that the cabin had everything we needed and more. I would also like to note, the owner/manager, messaged to make sure we had everything we needed and to contact her if we needed anything. After using VRBO and other renting sites, this was a first. We enjoyed the seclusion of the property itself and also the convenience of town being just several miles away. Rooms were very clean and stocked with all the essentials. The only downside is that the hot tub was not functioning during our stay. However, because of the inconvenience, Kelly offered us a discounted fee. We almost canceled our trip because it looked like it was going to rain all week, but with the covered porch, we sat outside and relaxed even when it was raining. The covered porch is idyllic and so well designed, I could have spent weeks lounging on the porch swing! The interior of the home is designed so beautifully and with every amenity you would ever need. We truly felt at home here, we cooked, we watched movies, what an awesome home! The location is also perfectly situated for access to wineries and restaurants around Hendersonville and only 15 minutes from Chimney Rock Village and Lake Lure where we also had great wine and food. From morning coffee on the deck to evenings in the hot tub. The home was clean, new and well stocked. Kelly was extremely responsive whenever we needed her. As with most homes in the mountains, internet was a bit spotty so be prepared for that. For the most part I was able to work from the cabin w/o issue, including video conferences. Proximity to the winery is a big plus. Everyone in the neighborhood (and at Point Lookout) was very friendly and welcoming. (Try the Cab. You will be happily surprised.) It's a bit off the beat and path. So if you are looking for a clean, quite, homey cabin with modern amenities and an attentive host, look no further. ##### David S. There was everything we needed to grill out & make several meals in the kitchen. The hosts are very thoughtful in providing condiments, coffee, tea and creamer! The kitchen has all the cookware you would need! They even provided soap, shampoo & conditioner. The beds were extremely comfortable, ample towels and blankets were available as needed.
