Not too thrilling in the heat. Also had lots of 'visitors' in the night - tiny flies attracted by light, almost covering the whole of my futon. Also, sunlight pours in unchecked as there are no blackout curtains. No fun when daylight begins about 4am! Compound that with a curious frosted glass panel on the room door so that when any movement outside triggers the corridor lights, brightness shine in through the panel, interrupting sleep. The room is a traditional Japanese tatami. The old couple who runs the place is very friendly and will take you to the JR Station every morning at whatever time.
