We spent 3 nights here and throughout the whole trip, the staff were friendly and kind, the food - especially the French dinner and the breakfast - was DELICIOUS, and we loved the overall feel of the hotel. We skied Asahi-dake two days and staying here made skiing simple. The front desk was incredibly helpful and kind. The food was delicious, and the onsen was the perfect way to end each day. The hotel is older but updated in all the necessary ways. It has an ageless charm. The room was super comfortable. We absolutely loved every part of our stay. Quick tip: make sure to make your dinner and breakfast reservations before arrival. They send an email a couple of weeks before you arrive. Public and private hot springs baths were awesome.
