Great stay at Fenix Furano in the off season (October). The rooms are international standard with a kitchen and living area, plus a comfortable bedroom. The tub and shower are also excellent and everything is brand new and spotlessly clean. I imagine the rooms here will be very expensive during ski season, as one of the Furano lifts is right in front of the hotel. In October, the room I had was an absolute bargain! The only issue with my stay was that there was no breakfast available at the hotel. However, the sister property around the corner had a cafe that was open from 7:30 every morning. Having your own car will make stays here more convenient. Getting in to Furano for restaurants and shops is about a 10-minute drive. There are some places to eat within walking distance of the hotel, but the better places in Furano are down in the town.

とても居心地の良いホテルでした。ソファもベッドもとても気に入ったので、同じものを購入したいです！ブランド名を教えてください！！フロントのLukeさん、とても丁寧に対応して下さって好印象でした。日本語を頑張って勉強されてるんだろうなぁと思いました。朝食も一品一品どれも美味しかったので、ホームページでももっと宣伝したら良いのに！と思いました。次回はぜひ連泊してゆっくり過ごしたいです。連泊するなら、食洗機があったらなお、良いかなとは思いました。

Brand new gem in Furano!
My husband and I have lived in Japan for a couple years, but this was our first trip to Hokkaido, and Furano! We were looking for a more intimate experience than your standard resort full of other tourists, and that is exactly what we got, in addition to a very knowledgeable staff. We were assisted with making dinner reservations, given suggestions on activities in town or in towns next door. We went just before the peak ski season started, so we were able to experience some snow, but it wasn't crowded. Gareth, the manager, was incredibly helpful with dinner reservations, and if your Japanese language skills are rusty like ours, having someone translate and help was amazing. Lucas was also very helpful with assistance and advice during our stay. Our room was modern, warm, had great amenities like a towel warmer in the bathroom, large showers, and storage space for bulky jackets. The rooms are effiecient, but do not feel crowded. We rented a vehicle, but the cabs are available to easily hop to the central part of town to walk around if needed, and there are lifts and equipment rentals in the immediate area. 10/10 would stay here again. You cannot ask for a better stay for the price. Thank you!
