Really liked that meals were served at your table - we had stayed at a few other places recently that were all buffet style. The food was very very nice, and the italian dinner focus was a nice change from several weeks of japanese food. Breakfast was a large american plate, which also included a tasty curry soup (love that about hokkaido). Onsen has a nice view of Asahidake, and it was good to have the option to also take an onsen and sauna at sister hotel Bear Monte. Requested for extra pillows as pillow was too low for us but was told there wasn't. First time I ever encountered hotel with no extra pillows. They gave towels instead. Staff couldn't speak English well and had some problems conversing food restrictions. Wifi was very weak in the room despite being near the middle of the building.
