Room is quite small and beach is private and nice but there are definitely better beaches within driving distance. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. Need a car to drive to dining and shopping. However, we visited in mid-October and were disappointed to find most nearby places already closed for the season. The hotel had only one restaurant open with limited options and very high prices (€162 for two pizzas and a bottle of rosé). We tried exploring Baia (20 minute walk) and Porto Cervo (10 minute taxi, costing €40 each way), but both were mostly shut down. Even online listings showed places as open, which was misleading. By Day 4, we decided to rent a car, which was more cost-effective than taxis. We had room service once for lunch, but most days we relied on the nearby supermarket (about a 5-minute walk). They had fresh rolls, meats, and cheeses, which we brought back to our room. It’s a real shame there wasn’t clearer communication about the seasonal closures. The area is stunning, and we would have loved to experience it at its best. We complained in the reception the next morning. They sent a technician who didn't fix it proberbly. So we just turned it off for the rest of our stay. Didn't have anything cold to drink then. We should've had a new room/ apartment insteed of this but we didn't want to complain anymore. But it should have been offered us, as it was a quiet expensive stay. The moment you arrive to the moment you depart everything is taken care of, the attention to detail is impeccable, and the welcome is warm. Each and every staff we encountered was joyful and would greet you with a smile, you could tell how incredibly hard working and dedicated everyone is in creating a beautiful atmosphere for the guests. We went during off season and got lucky with a room upgrade. We loved the kitchenette in our room and balcony and appreciated the multiple cleans and touch ups throughout the day. The breakfasts every morning were fresh and delicious. The pool and facilities were beautiful, don’t be afraid of the temperature, once you’re in it’s refreshing. Hamza was great in finding us a great spot and sharing towels and water with us. We ventured off site for a few meals but honestly the hotel food was delicious, especially the pizza! The private beach was very convenient, maybe not the most beautiful on the island but it was nice to have the option. You’ll definitely need a car if you want to venture to nearby Porto Cervo, though it wasn’t as lively or interesting as we had hoped, perhaps because it was off season and quieter. There is a nearby resort town with restaurants, about a 6 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk.
