The view was terrible. Don’t stay in rooms 344-364 unless you like staring at a roof with muddy footprints and garbage on it. Stains in rug, clogged shower drain, minimal housekeeping. Pool is t large enough for the number of guests and no chairs at the adult pool at all.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate. You'll need to be an early riser if you want to claim poolside chairs. So much fun!

Hotel is beautiful. My only issue was housekeeping shows up super late or don’t show at all unless you call them and they don’t clean good at all. Very superficial cleaning.

Overall we had a lovely time at this property. It was very clean, well maintained and the food was amazing. Only complaints - it’s noisy (our room was over the family pool) with the pool DJ and at night the lobby DJ. Also didn’t like how their palapa reservations worked - had to wake up at 7am on the dot to reserve otherwise 1 minute later they were taken. Same thing for getting chairs by either pool - must get there right at 7am to secure your spot. For as much as the rooms cost, would have been nicer if the palapas weren’t so expensive. Additionally, we told every staff member it was our 20th anniversary and nothing was offered. Usually when you go to dinner, for example, and tell the waiter it’s your bday they bring a free dessert. Nothing like that was done. Was surprised.

As soon as we checked in, we noticed, even though we had an upgraded room that our view was of the partial roof that was under construction. On top of that there was carpeting in the room that smelled like wet dog. They also knew that we had a child with us that would be sleeping on the pull out bed, and there were no linens and the mattress looked like it had been soiled before. Needless to say we did not stay the entire time. For nothing being included, it was an outrageous price for what the room was.

What I don’t get about this property is there’s an adult section swimming area. Then there’s a common area, that’s the one with the swim up bar. All the kids at the swim up bar area. Just think they got that part totally wrong. The areas should be flipped that’s just a suggestion.

Fantastic vacation at the Marriott Resort. Property is super nice w/tons of amenities, daily entertainment at the pool during the day and inside the lobby in the evening. Beach is awesome and the location provides a lot of opportunities to walk to other resorts and/or the mall area. Can’t say enough about the Aruban people who were so nice! Already planned return trip. Very highly recommend.

I didn’t like the system they have for reserving palapa on the beach. People who arrive on Sunday can reserve the whole week leaving the rest of us scrambling to get the worst locations by the sidewalk. Also, for what you pay for a room, charging for the palapa seems like nickel and diming guests to death.

Hotel was great, room view was not the best looking at the rooftop but that was fine because your never in your room but really to sleep. Loved the hotel and they have a very friendly hotel kitty we fell in love with

Property and grounds were good. Unfortunately our stay was ruined by lack of rule enforcement during an en experience that I was unaware of called “hell week.” Gaggles of unsupervised teenagers overtake the property and are ill mannered, loud, and hang out in places where they should not. The staff does nothing to correct the behavior and they don’t enforce the property rules.

Phenomenal resort, embodying and displaying the BEST of the Marriott service and attention every minute and at every turn. From check-in to check-out, our stay was superb. Great location. Amazing beachfront with inviting huts, crystal clear water, and always-on attention from the staff. Pool area was also great, with swim up bar, lounge chairs, and plenty of space. The lobby has a delicious sushi restaurant, several shops, and a gelato place that is a MUST EAT (try the Peanut Nutella!). Easy inside access to the Stellaris Casino for adult fun. Main restaurant is now the "Mercat"... serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great food, very organized, and super clean. There's also a Ruth's Chris Steak House on site that's AMAZING. No shortage of things to do, easy walks, etc.

Shower was backed up the first day and flooded the bathroom. Maintenance was there right away but took multiple requests to get Housekeeping to clean up the mess. Pull out couch was very old and uncomfortable to sleep on for a week.

The hotel staff is super friendly and catering, the rooms are nice and clean, they have nice shops and restaurants right in the hotel area and the beach area is beautiful as well
