My only critique is that the dinner service was a bit slow and the menu felt like poor value for money, but we enjoyed the fish pie and chicken schnitzel. The historic building on the shores of loch Lomond was peaceful and serene. The staff was great and even upgraded our room for free which was a real treat. The restaurant and drinks were good as well. We found it perfect to be honest, its in a great setting opposite the loch, you can get the ferries across if you want to. The room was a bit tired but it was quiet and clean. The bar area was really nice and the breakfast good.
