The room was dirty, no toilet paper holder just a roll on the counter. My husband checked the carbon monoxide detector just out of curiosity. Yup expired. We only needed to stay 1 night. I would not have stayed a second.

could once in a while clean under beds as food wrappers ect. hide there, however bedding clean bathroom clean and the room was spacious. that is all I needed. would stay again

Upon checking in, we were told not to worry about the red stain on the carpet. Were told “it’s hair dye, we would have to completely redo the entire room to fix it” Second, drugs were being sold in the parking lot. People were in and out of the parking lot non stop. Dead flies all over the place, not clean. Checking out the front desk told me an inappropriate story about their personal life. Was there for a hockey tournament, I had a 40 min shower because I felt gross after.

Bathtub needs a deep clean. Black moldy spots on parts of the tile walls. Kids dropped a toy under the bed and when I got down to retrieve it I said sorry that toy is lost! It was pretty filthy under there, looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in years. Wish there was another option to stay when visiting Renfrew, but this seems to be the only hotel I can find. I've stayed here 4 or 5 times. Not sure why the restaurant isn't back up and running yet. The bagged breakfast is kinda crappy when travelling with kids.

Location, location, location! These are the main reasons I chose to stay at this hotel. Halfway to downtown Ottawa from where I started my drive. Rooms were mostly clean just an obvious 2" dust around all edges of carpet (likely hotel vacuum doesnt have proper attachment to reach this). My biggest complaint is that I should have been warned that there would be excessive noise in my room due to being located right beside elevator. From 11pm to 3am I hesrd the constant 'ding' of elevator doors. They check in staff should warn you upon check in and there should be brand new pkg of earplugs on night stand.

There were a number of bugs in the room, there was hair on floor in the bathroom and the carpet was dirty. I attempted to address with front desk and there was no offer of a room change of compensation. I also asked for a late discharge and there was a lot of hassle. Not a good experience and I will not return.

The shower in the one room barely worked. Both rooms had missing toilet paper holders. One tv didn’t work. And it smelt like marijuana in the elevator when we first arrived. The corners of the rooms weren’t clean on the carpet floors.

More attention to detail by owners would be nice!
The condition of the building visually is poor; the hallways on the fourth floor are in need of paint. The elevator is dirty, the room floor carpets are not vacuum very well and the walls and dusting in the room was poor. On a positive note the front counter staff were great!!

When we got there the toilet had been used and not flushed. The shower had black mold and mildew and the heat was at the highest level. The convenience of the location was trumped by the lack of upkeep. Front desk staff was lovely, however.

This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. There was hair everywhere, and it doesn't look like they've taken very good care of the property. I've stayed in some pretty dodgy places all around the world I've never stayed anywhere where there was as much hair as there was in this place. I would have asked for my money back but I was just too tired when I got in, I just went to sleep, got up and left

The hallways and elevator were dirty and smelled bad. There was a crushed beer can in the closet. Only one hanger. No shampoo or conditioner. Hairs on the bathroom floor. Ice machine out of order. Staff members seemed to be having a loud meeting in the room next to ours early in the morning and the walls are so thin you could hear every word clearly.
