We only stayed one night in our room, but would not have wanted to stay more. It was an uncomfortably designed room and somewhat dated. Since it was east facing, by the time we checked in, the side of our building was quite dark and did not make for a pleasant experience inside the small unit. The bathroom, although perhaps desirable in the time it was designed and constructed was overly large, leaving about as much space in the sleeping quarters. The door into the unit pretty much opened right onto the bed. The whole unit was finished in ceramic tile, which was quite cold and the large Jacuzzi tub was in the bathroom, which was dark and made the using the tub not something we wanted to do. If you plan on playing golf, then at least you're right on the course, but otherwise, the only amenity is a restaurant. There is boat launch, but no beach. Overall, we felt that the room was not worth the price we paid, but we understand that prices in Calabogie are high in general.
