Perfect Rental
The home is perfectly central to the surrounding site seeing areas, away from the main traffic, quiet, clean and has all the amenities to be comfortable.
We appreciated the board games and no tv.
Had a great time visiting Murphy's and skiing at Bear Valley. Accomodations were comfortable and the beds were comfortable (not always the case for a rental). The driveway was slightly steep and icy so a 4 wheel drive, or chains were required.

Great cozy place in the woods
Piney Point was excellent for our family of 4 during a weekend visit to Arnold. It's the perfect location, about 30 minutes to Bear Valley and 20 minutes to Murphys. It's also very close to the Big Trees grocery and the EV charger at the gas station is 3 minutes down the street.
The house is well appointed with nice furniture and anything you might need. The kids loved the double bunk beds. Both bathrooms are newly renovated. We will definitely be back for our next visit!

We love Piney Point!
We were so happy to find this clean, well appointed house in a great Arnold location. Everything was new and adorably decorated and our group of 8 fit perfectly into the space. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home and it was a very quick trip to the grocery store and other restaurants/shops. We were able to quickly and easily get to local lakes, Big Trees State Park, and two trailheads were within running distance! It was great to be in the mountains in the fall and we'll definitely be booking this place again.

Well stocked cabin in peaceful neighborhood
This was hands down the best-equipped kitchen I have ever encountered on a rental. There was a Kitchen Aid mixer! A coffee grinder! Everything you could ever need. I love to cook and usually bring all this stuff along, but I just didn't have time to organize that on this trip. So, you can imagine my surprise to find it all taken care of! As for the rest of the house, it looks exactly like the pictures. Clean, newly renovated, comfortable, and welcoming. The managers have really done a great job!
Modern, Clean and Centrally Located. Missing some minor details
The place was beautiful and just as advertised. Everything was freshly remodeled and modern, with thoughtful touches like numerous coat racks and hooks to accommodate all your winter gear and games / arts / crafts for kids. Property manager is very responsive and came by to drop off detergent when I asked about it! The place was close enough to snow parks and ski resorts so exploring the house was very conveniently located. I knocked off one star for a few reasons: I felt like the property could use some minor conveniences to make the house a home. Basic things like cooking oil, coffee filters, coffee or tea would have been a nice touch and would have made it very convenient. The area is also a dead spot for non-Verizon phones, and the property manager could only be reached via SMS, so it was basically impossible to reach her unless I drove out of town and into an area with reception. The online customer support by Vacasa was mostly responsive but not as helpful because they're not familiar with the property.

Great home in a great location
I have stayed in homes all around Arnold and I love this location. There are two trailheads to the Rim Trail near by that allow perfect access to the upper part of the trail (no crazy hill climbs). The town is close but not too close and we were able to quickly get to Big Trees State Park for a final hike before departing. The home itself was lovely. A simple layout that has been maximized by thoughtful finishes (bunk room for kids, fancy shower for adults with combo bath/shower in the other bathroom for kids, fully stocked kitchen for cooking/eating in, etc.). The layout of the property is in a way where you do not hear/see any neighbors and the large sliding door to the deck makes enjoying the outside easy, even when staying in. Not that I wanted to work on vacation, but the WiFi is very fast. Would recommend to others and will plan on staying there again.

Excellent Stay
We loved our stay here! 2 adults, 3 kids and plenty of room. Everything has been remodeled beautifully and it was so clean! Completely stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and bedding. We were there during a heat spell and the A/C worked great! Wifi was awesome as well.
We knew there was no TV going in and it wasn't an issue. But if you wanted to watch a movie or anything, the blank wall would be perfect for a projector screen. Just something to consider.
Beds were comfortable. Ceiling fans in each room. The kitchen had a great layout. It's easy to find and close to Big Trees Market.
We would stay here again, for sure!

Exceptional Cabin - totally new and remodeled
We have stayed at Piney Point twice and have loved it for many reasons. Besides being attractive and well equipped, the cabin is very functional and comfortable. Our two kids loved having their own rooms, our tween adored her Queen bed retreat and our 11 year old loved having the bunk bed room to himself, equip with cute reading lamps on each bed. Black out shades in that room helped him sleep in too. In fact all the window coverings create privacy and help to keep it cooler - there is A/C too though. The bathrooms and kitchen are modern and clean. We BBQed on the deck and played lots of cards and board games on the big dining room table. There is a fun vintage Bluetooth speaker for music too. We spent time kayaking at Lake Alpine, just 30-40 min. up the hill and it was awesome - a must try. We also endured the San Antonio Falls hike - quite steep on the way back and we had loads of mosquito bites, but the ladybug swarms and the creek views were amazing. Enjoy your time in Arnold and Piney Point. We will be back for sure.
