In the summer you can enjoy the access to Blue Lake Springs many amenities as tennis courts, pool, lake, playground & the restaurant. The hiking trails are just steps away from the front door & in the winter we have a perfect hill outside the front door for sledding. The spacious master bedroom, located on the ground floor, comes with a king-size bed, there is also space for a portable baby crib for those traveling with children, the other bedroom features a twin over full bunkbed. In the open area downstairs is also a sleeping sofa provided with an extra mattress. Each of the two full bathrooms comes with a toilet, sink, and shower, all linens and towels are provided The kitchen is fully equipped with a blender, coffeemaker, dishes, utensils, dishwasher, freezer, refrigerator, stove, pantry items, and toaster. For entertainment within this unique dome rental, guests will find an array of scandinavian & english books, games for children & adults, puzzles, toys and flat-screen tv with DVD player and Netflix, and a small selection of movies, and high speed internet. There is also a wood-burning stove that comes stocked with firewood. There is a large wraparound deck outside of this beautiful property which boasts spectacular views. On the deck, we provide a hammock, dining table for 6-8 people to relax with a morning coffee or a book outdoor. There is also a five burner gas barbecue to cook delicious meals. Guests are not required to bring basic soaps, firewood, a hairdryer, laundry soap, shampoo, toilet roll, paper towels, linen, or towels as these are very kindly provided by the host. The property was clean, and we were informed that there is a minimum 2 day interval between guests in consideration of the pandemic which we appreciated. We loved the architecture and tasteful modern Skandinavian decor. The kitchen cabinets were labelled to make it easy to find things, and was well stocked. The bathroom towels were thick and plush, and the bed linens were comfortable too. You can tell the owners make every effort to keep you comfortable and cozy during your stay. The property itself is beautiful, and even bigger on the inside than it seems from the outside. It was immaculately clean and had a really stylish aesthetic. There was everything there that we needed, and lots of nice comfortable touches. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat. What’s more, the local surroundings were lovely. Arnold is a pretty, small town, and the amazing Calaveras state park and it’s Giant Sequoias were a 9 minute drive away. I can thoroughly recommend! ##### Matthew L. It had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend away. We enjoyed listening to music, sitting by the fireplace, and playing games. It was close to Bear Valley and Calaveras State Park which made perfect day adventures from the cabin. We couldn't have been happier with how clean the house was. Even the carpets felt clean which I really appreciated. There were plenty of towels and sheets provided and the kitchen had pretty much everything you needed. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. The home is great for families or just a couple. Maria was very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions and requests. The cabin with its unique design has been recently remodeled, so everything is new, clean and in good working order. As fans of Scandinavian design, we appreciate the light and modern interiors. The kitchen is well-stocked and we found everything we needed to cook our own meals. The cabin is nicely decorated making for a comfortable stay. We loved the special touch of the holiday decorations, which made it very homey and put us in the festive spirit. The upstairs couch is super comfy and the acoustics when playing music through the downstairs Echo while sitting upstairs under the domed roof are a trip - makes you feel you are in an opera house. The cabin is located at the edge of town. During the pre-Christmas week of our stay, it was quiet and peaceful. From the cabin you’ll have quick access to the forest and within 20 to 30 minutes of walking you are entering Big Trees State Park. Thank you Maria for a a wonderful stay at Rancho Relaxo. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of space and toys and games (with all the pieces). Nicely decorated. At the time of our stay, there was smoke in the air, especially in the mornings, from the wildfires far away. I would suggest checking the air quality report. Easy communication with the host. Jul 17, 2018 #### wonderful vacation home My family has visited Arnold and Blue Lake Springs about eight times in the last few years, and we like staying in a different rental each time. That may change - we absolutely loved the Dome home. It is really interesting, beautiful, and clean. We just liked being there. Having the reverse floor plan with the bedrooms on the bottom floor keeps them perfectly cool even during a hot summer days. We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s beautiful home. The cabin is nice and clean, equipped with everything you need. Nice location with easy access to both Arnold, Murphys and Big Tree Park. Maria gave us some awesome recommendations and gems of what to do in the area, and we enjoyed both wine tasting and hiking. Apr 18, 2018 #### Relaxing stay in beautiful dome house We really enjoyed our stay in the dome house. The Scandinavian decor is beautiful and makes the house so unique. We enjoyed sitting by the fire place after a day out hiking, it is very easy to hike to Big Trees, other trails is just a car ride away. We also really loved that it is so close to Murphys, a charming little town where you can enjoy good food and wine and do some shopping.
