The hotel has a good location in the Veluwe. Great to go for a hike and bike ride. Rooms were dirty; spiderwebs and flies in the room. Overall the amenities and breakfast was good.

Not 24h Fitness
Fitness center is not 24h. It opens at 10:00. Hallways and upper floors a bit noisy. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

Nice hotel near Arnhem. Convenient to area with car or likely bicycle. No air conditioning but fan provided. Comfortable bed. Decent temperature at night. Enjoyable restaurant experience. Nice terrace area.

Room is nice and quiet. Don't eat at the restaurant. Expensive and terrible. Missing bits on the entree. Main course was badly cooked. Partly burnt. Parking is very busy

Great value and service.
A comfortable hotel close to a the beautiful de hoge Veluwe National Park and the Kroller Muller museum. The staff, restaurant and facilities were excellent. Wonderful choice for breakfast. Only drawback was lack of air conditioning during the heatwave.

Disappointing based on our previous experience.
Family room I'd booked was being referbished so down graded to a room with a put me up bed for my daughter and they gave us complimentary breakfast to make up for it (this was pre arranged) . To be honest we stayed in the family room last year and it was more like a suite and the room we had was OK but it was a big downgrade compared with the room we had last time. Then when we got the bill the tried to charge us 15 euro for a put me up bed for my daughter which was disputed and taken off the bill. Went for a meal and although the food was OK the service was shockingly slow and they bought out the wrong meal for my daughter. We complained at the end and they removed her meal from the bill. They also tried to charge us 5 euros for tap water, again this was disputed and removed from the bill. We toured around the Nederlands for 5 nights and this night was by far the most expensive and based on our previous experience of this hotel, was also the most disappointing.

We had a great stay. It was even better that the kids had there own room. The breakfast buffet was amazing. So much to choose from. Dinner choices were superb. And the drinks from the bar as well. The bathroom was nice and big. Excellent when you travel with more people. Beds were comfy. Nice surroundings. Only thing that was negative was finding a dirty sock, dirty thongs and jewelry that didnt belong to you.

Easy to get to
Have stayed at this hotel before, since last visit they have refurbished the basement bar area and is not so imposing as the restaurant, beds could be replaced soon as they have seen better days

shuttle service needed
I was there for an event in the olympic park. I would like to see the hotel provide a reliable shuttle service to events in the park. When I suggested this to the reception, they claimed it was up to the event. I disagree. As an accommodation to the more than 75% of its guest, they should provide this service. Also, I asked the hotel phone operator to connect me to the room of another guest. She would not connect me unless I had the room number in addition to the name of the other guest. This requirement summed up the attitude of many of the staff. #who is the client? #service? Did not appreciate police conducting alcohol breathalyzers on every patron leaving the park. Back to point A, why aren't they providing a shuttle service?

Good but a bit antsy
Hotel is not in the centre of town but in an easily accessible location. Only had breakfast there but it was ample and good quality. Room was decent size with a good bathroom but came with its own supply of ants which took away from my stay a bit. Room 234 by the way.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I have backache issue all the while & the mattress in this hotel is considered soft & worsened my backache issue. Other then this, the hotel is well located and its 7 km away from the Hoge Veluwe Park & Kroller-Muller Museum, a must visit in Arnhem

Perfect hotel for our short stay
Comfortable and relaxing. Good restaurant. Breakfast had reasonable choice of hot and cold food. Room and bathroom were spacious and modern. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I travelled with elderly mother who found hotel met her needs. Ramp access into hotel and lifts helped but she still had to negotiate steps from lift and a heavy fire door to reach her room on first floor. Might be a problem for people with mobility problems. Overall we were happy with hotel for our short 2 night stay.

This is a good hotel, well located for the Arnhem area. We had a completely blocked shower drain and it was clear within an hour of me reporting it without having to move rooms. The rooms are large and spacious. Dinner was good.

4 Star Hotel
The hotel is a very good hotel with all the amenities your require and close to Arnhem and Oosterbeak. The only thing that lets the hotel down in this modern era is the WIFI. The WIFI is in the reception but as you move away from the reception, it peter's off to nothing within 10 metres or so.

Best choice for Papendal and Arnhem
Fantastic hotel idea for all our sport at Papendal national sport centre. The breakfasts are casual and very rewarding. With something for even the fussy ones. Evening in the restersunt is equally good. Enjoy the spa or just chill.

We were greeted by really friendly staff who dealt with our booking very efficiently. The room was perfect. I cant fault it at all. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was good. It was as good as it could be. I cannot express strongly enough how god our stay was there.

Good hotel for exploring Arnhem area
We had a lovely stay in July 2015. We used the hotel as a base for exploring the area. The hotel was easy to find and accessible by road and bus. The reception and restaurant staff were welcoming and all spoke very good English. We found our room to be spacious and well appointed. Our family room comprised a lobby area with WC, main double bedroom with bath and shower room and a separate room with two single beds which was perfect for travelling with children. Both rooms led to a shared balcony area. (There were locks and a safety chain for anyone wondering about travelling with young children). Tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries and towels all provided along with a digital safe and plenty of storage. The restaurant was excellent. The dinner menu was varied and delicious as was breakfast (breads, pastries and cereals, cheeses, salmon, meats and salad, yoghurt and fruit in addition to cooked items). I would definitely return to the area again; some wonderful places to visit including the Hoge Veluwe National Park, Burgers Zoo, Openlucht Museum, Arnhem War Museum etc and the hotel was a great base to relax after a busy day.
