"We received notice after the booking — after the property had taken our money apologizing that the “railing was being refinished”. OK. We arrived at the property. Well. That was the understatement of the century. The entire front of the apartment building was under construction. In fact the unit front door was nailed shut with a 2x4. It was not a safe unit. Probably not ready for occupancy by local fire code. We stayed at the local Hyatt at our own expense. VRBO was sent the photos of the...
