There is no other house like this in the area! It is located on 8 acres connected to the Tiffany Wildlife Area. The Tiffany Wildlife Area offers public hunting and fishing in Buffalo and Pepin counties, with approximately 13,000 acres for public use. The cabin is a short distance (\~0.25 miles) from Dead Lake. The property is located 7 miles from Durand, WI, and 14 miles from Pepin, WI. We had four families + 2 dogs in our group and there was enough space for all of us to hang out together or spread out when needed, and the yard was great for the kids and dogs to run around. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals (except foil and ziploc bags, we brought our own just in case) and several games were provided to use. We were fairly close to grocery stores/gas stations for last minute needs. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. One note for the stairs is the ones up to the loft aren’t carpeted and are open in the back, so that is something to be aware of for those in your group who might have issues navigating that. The stairs down to the basement are carpeted and there is a ramp from the driveway to the porch so that was helpful for those in our group with mobility issues. There was an issue with the refrigerator halfway through our trip but Ashley was quick to respond and her husband brought out a spare fridge for us to use first thing next morning. We highly recommend a stay here and hope to be back next year! ##### Suzie V.
