"We were looking for a holiday home suitable for a family with two kids that would allow us both easy trips around Tenerife but also to relax after a day out. We found this to be a lovely house with all amenities we needed in a quiet area on the south side of the island and a wide view of both the coastline and the inland mountain ranges. "L’emplacement de la maison à l’est est isolée de toutes commodites. Les précédents voyageurs parlaient d’une belle plage …?!? Une belle plage de cailloux noirs !!L’hôte a été très gentil car il nous a apporté des draps qu’il nous manquait très rapidement. Par contre les 2 canapés sont en train mauvais états. Heureusement que nous avons passés que 2 nuits. Les toilettes sont dans la salle de bains, pas du tout pratique lorsque nous sommes 8 dans cette maison. Je m’attendais à mieux je l’avoue...

"whilst I loved the peaceful location, the facilities of the property were rather tired and dingy. Photos of property are deceptively brightly lit when in fact rooms are dark due to the enclosed courtyard that windows look out on. Showers were barely adequate although plenty of hot water. Towels and sheets were thin and in need of replacement. "

"We could not turn off the aircon and it was cold. It could have been cleaner. No soap for the sink. Very spacious but not homely. Not enough pillows and we needed a blanket but there were none. The dining area, very busy and food ok. Took my wine before I finished it as we were the last in but did replace it upon complaining. Not for us Only a 3 star "

"Apartment fine. One bed unstable so good job it was only me. Safe costs extra, spa costs extra for the jacuzzi and sauna they have and the on site massage therapist never replied to my enquiries in WhatsApp so i took my custom elsewhere. Overall ok, only one cockroach spotted. Busses dont go all the way up so you will have to walk or taxi back in the evenings as the last shuttle bus back is at around 6"

"We’ve just returned from a fantastic week at the lovely Barceló Tenerife, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we upgraded to Royal Level, which was absolutely worth it — the food was some of the best we’ve ever experienced on an all-inclusive holiday (most of my photos ended up being of the food!). The hotel itself was spotless throughout, with a great selection of high-quality drinks. Its location is also ideal — within walking distance to local bars and shops, and only around a 10-minute drive from the airport, making transfers quick and easy. What really made our stay special was the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive — a real credit to the hotel. There’s also a wide range of activities available for all ages, making it a great choice whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends, or as a family. I really enjoyed the candle making "

"An amazing hotel run by friendly staff in a fantastic location. The hotel is decorated with beautiful tropical plants, secluded from the coastal strip but close enough for lovely views from the bar. The food is a mix, great breakfast and lunch options but felt that dinner was poor, both in the booked restaurants and buffet. A small shame in an otherwise splendid hotel overall."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. The Spa and gym facilities are very good, with excellent therapists. The room was good and there are a variety of pools and outdoor areas to relax. A lovely rooftop terrace. We expected more activities such as tennis etc and had a disappointing experience at the hotels Montauk Restaurant, the worst meal we’ve ever had! Limited variety and the toughest Rib-eye steak! However, the Sessions restaurant provided a very good daily buffet breakfast. Good if you like rock music."
