THERE WERE NO QUILT COVERS IN THE BEDS.THE KITCHEN'S EQUIPMENT WAS AT THE MINIMUM( 2 PLATES ,2 MUGS IN A FAMILY ROOM ).IN THE PLAYGROUND THERE WAS NOT LAWN BUT WILD GRASS WITH STOOLS OF THEIR DOG,RUINS ,SMASHED ROOF TILES AND REEDS,RUSTY TABLE AND DIRTY ARMCHAIRS e.t.c(.I HAVE TAKEN PHOTOS IF YOU LIKE).THE A.C WAS SMELLING BAD

homey feel in great location

Το μπάνιο ήθελε ανακαίνιση. Δεν υπήρχε κουρτίνα στο ντους με συνέπια τα νερά να βρέχουν το δάπεδο και μετά να πρέπει να τα μαζέψεις με σφουγγαρίστρα! Το ξύλινο ντουλαπάκι με τον καθρέφτη ήταν διαλυμένο από τα νερά Τα φίλτρα στης βρύσης στο μπάνιο και στην κουζίνα ήταν βουλωμένα με άλατα και το νερό πεταγόταν τριγύρω όταν άνοιγες την βρύση! Τα κάτω ντουλάπια της κουζίνας μύριζαν μούχλα. Όταν έμπαινες ή έβγαινες από το δωμάτιο έπρεπε πρώτα να σε μυρίσει και να σε γλύψει το λυκόσκυλο των ιδιοκτητών!

Camera grande (per 4) e pulita, nuova ed in buone condizioni. La colazione non è compresa e scarseggiavano le stoviglie per prepararla in camera. Wi Fi funziona solo in giardino, non in camera. C'è un cane molto buono in cerca di carezze, ottimo per i bambini. A circa 15' da Nauplia. La spiaggia vicina è con sassi.

Extremely convenient

A great spot for exploring the Peloponnese. A very welcome change from small hotels as there is plenty of room and everything needed for efficient apartment living is provided. It is close to restaurants and only minutes from Nauplio. Doretta is a terrific hostess who is very helpful and welcoming.

Friendly and relaxed

This guest house is situated in a rural setting, on the edge of a village called Myloi. We had good directions from the owner, which were very necessary, as our GPS did not recognise the address. Make sure you get these directions and do not book this guesthouse if you do not have your own car. Parking in the front yard of the house is very secure as there is a brick wall and a solid gate. Our greeting was warm and we were given a choice of rooms. They are all large, with a balcony, and are well set out, with a small table top stove and fridge. We were there for two nights and each morning, the owner appeared with Greek pancakes and waffles, which we had not expected and greatly appreciated. Curiously, there is no screen or curtain for the shower which did tend to lead to puddles in the bathroom, but the water was hot and plentiful! Another delight for us was the owner’s lovely dog, which has freedom of movement around the yard and exterior of the building. As dog lovers, we appreciated Ziko’s attentions, but for people who are resistant to canine charms, Ziko’s presence could be disconcerting. This guesthouse is definitely recommended.

Nice appartment near Nafplio

We got a perfect description of how to reach the place and were welcomed really nice. The rooms provide everything you need and were clean and nicely decorated. In the nights the dogs outside were really loud and the steet is not so nice but if you want to visit Nafplio but don't want to pay as much as it costs in Nafplio it is perfect!

Welcoming hostess.

This hotel was just being used as a stopover. The owner, Doretta had sent to us, a couple of days prior, a welcoming e-mail to advise us how to get there and introduce herself. The accommodation was excellent, comfortable. Breakfast was pancakes and honey, cooked by Doretta. And, before we left, she provided home-made soup - Greek dried ingredients. A fitting end to our short stay.

Alles toll, Doretta umsorgt ihre Gäste! Morgens gab es Pfannkuchen, und als sie nicht da war, am Abend vorher Marmorkuchen für das Frühstück. Wer allerdings ernsthaft kochen will, sollte Werkzeug wie z.B. ein scharfes Messer dabei haben, die Küchenausstattung ist sehr sparsam. Trotzdem: Heißer Tipp, danke für alles, Doretta!

Nice Place to Stay

This stay was a pleasant surprise on our recent trip to Greece. We were basically looking for an affordable place to stay on our way back to Athens after a week-long vacation on the Island of Kythera. O Xenonas ton Mylon turned out to be a interesting hotel near the very attractive harbor/beach of Mylon/Mili. The hotel is very unassuming. It's a small building in a neighborhood where several of the surrounding homes are still underdevelopment. Has the feel of a local apartment building with rooms to let. The owner of the hotel could not have been friendlier. Her English was terrific and service great. We had a lovely meal down on the harbor that evening -- a short drive away. Fun respite from more commercial hotel properties. It was hard to find. Be sure to get good directions.

EXCELLENT ACCUEIL

On a eu un accueil excellent, de très bons conseils, et en plus on a la propriétaire qui nous a gentiment gardé mon sac que j'avais oublié jusqu'à ce que je vienne le récupérer. Le studio était spacieux avec une super terrasse et une vue dégagée. elle nous a fait de délicieuses crêpes au miel le matin le rêve.

Σε μια ήσυχη αλλά όχι απομακρυσμένη περιοχή που τα βροχερά πρωϊνά θύμιζε Σκωτία απολαύσαμε καταπληκτική φιλοξενία σε ένα εξαιρετικά άνετο δωμάτιο ακόμα και για την 5μελή μας οικογένεια. Μας παρείχαν όλες τις ανέσεις για το μωρό (παρκοκρέβατο, καρεκλάκι), μας γλύκαναν με τις καταπληκτικές τους τηγανίτες, μας ζέσταναν με το τζάκι και τα αφθονα ξύλα, τα παιδιά μας έπαιξαν με τα δικά τους γλυκύτατα πιτσιρίκια εν ολίγεις ήταν σαν να είχαμε επισκεφτεί συγγενείς αλλά με τη γλυκιά διακριτικότητα που διακρίνει τους ανθρώπους που με μεράκι φτιάχνουν και δουλεύουν το δικό τους ξενώνα . Με λίγα λόγια περάσαμε ένα αξέχαστο 3ήμερο! Ευχαριστούμε πολύ Ντορέτα & Γιώργο!

Underbar lägenhet, funktionell och mycket välutrustad, ren, hemtrevlig, bekväm och rymlig. Fantastiskt snälla, trevliga och hjälpsamma ägare, samt en gullig och kelglad hund. Très bel hotel

L’accueil a été très agréable. Les gérants nous ont même offert un déjeuner en nous invitant dans leur appartement en attendant que notre chambre se libère. La chambre est juste génial. Très spacieuse, un balcon. Vraiment parfait. La plage se trouve à 5 minutes à pied. Et quand nous sommes reparti, Doretha a même appelé la compagnie de bus pour qu'il n'oublie pas de s'arrêter pour nous. En résumé, l’hôtel est très recommandé !

Μας υποδέχτηκαν εγκάρδια σε ένα πολύ καθαρό και άνετο δωμάτιο.Η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν άμεση.Μας παρείχαν πράγματα που δεν είχαμε ζητήσει, όπως καθισματάκι φαγητού για το μωρό μας .Συμπαθητική η γύρω περιοχή και οι αποστάσεις για πολύ όμορφες παραλίες ήταν πολύ μικρές.Η τιμή ήταν ανάλογη των υπηρεσιών και δεν θα διστάσουμε να ξαναεπισκεφτούμε τον ξενώνα ,χειμώνα αυτή τη φορά για να αναψουμε και το τζάκι.

Great location, very nice for mid-range stay

We stayed at 5 different mid-range hotels in our trip to Greece, and O Xenonas ton Mylon stacked up pretty well overall, but it had some unique features that made it really stand out. 1. Location - It's in the small town of Milli (also spelled Myloi), which is right near the beach, a few miles from Nafplio, and was a great staring point for exploring the Peloponnese. Overall, very quiet area. 2. It was the only place in which we stayed that had screens in the windows and patio. That was really nice, as it kept the insects out, and from what we can tell is not the norm in Greece. 3. With less than a dozen rooms, it's a small facility so you get lots of personal attention from the proprieter if you need it. Overall, very nice.
