This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. The owner helped us park our car, and found an additional room for a very low price. Also, the square at Argos was a delight. We were exhausted from a crazy day of travel, and this was a very affordable, comfortable respite.

Clean, comfortable and great value
Hotel was clean and comfortable, and in a fabulous central location. Had a wonderful view across the square from my balcony. Staff were friendly, and check-in was very quick and simple. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price.

Very average place, for the average price. View from balcony was decent, breakfast was average, room size was decent, no free parking, shower was quite small. Biggest issue - room was cold! the whole floor is stone, which made it worse. Had to use heater to fall a sleep. it would be almost impossible to find parking near by during high season

It was easy to get to and walk around from. A great central spot for our daytrips. Simple, but clean. Affordable and the breakfast was perfect for us.

Nice budget hotel
The hallways of the hotel smell smoking and this is a problem. Other than this, the hotel is a great choice given the options available in Greece away from tourist centers.

Argos is worth a visit
When we arrived we were given a choice of rooms and we opted for one with a view over the square. The room was spacious, clean. We visited Mycenae (of course) along with the crowds but we also visited the Argos theatre and the Agora, very easy to find but closed at 3.00. We picked up a parking ticket by failing to discuss parking with the proprietor, who could have given us a pass! But the fine was only 10 Euros with an interesting discussion about Europe with the Town Hall official!

Great place for the price EXCEPT for smoke
The service was great. The breakfast was terrific. The room was fine for the price, especially the little balcony over the square. HOWEVER, we are non-smokers and requested a non-smoking room. The room had two ashtrays and smelled of old cigarette smoke, and the hallways smelled strongly of the smoke that rose up the open stairway from the bar-restaurant below. I'd give this place a MUCH higher score if it weren't for the smell of smoke.

Surrounded by history.
Although the hotel was outdated, the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and the surroundings outweighed all of that. The hotel faces the town square which is beautiful and full of wonderful shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The view from the balcony was breathtaking for us. It is a great hotel central to a lot of sightseeing and a short car ride to the beach.

Nice hotel in centre of town
The centre has been pedestrianised so don't believe Google Maps (or your SatNav). You need to park a little way from the hotel and walk along the pedestrianised streets to the hotel. This may seem like an inconvenience but actually its quite a positive as the hotel has just pedestrian traffic going by now (so no traffic noise).

The hotel staff wanted to make sure that we had a great and pleasant experience. They were very hospitable and professional. It offers much more than a 2* hotel. I would rather say that you get a 3* for a 2* price. I highly recommend it! P.S. It has been recently remodeled and renovated.

Good stop on tour of Peloponnese
Family of 4 explored Peloponnese sights via car. This was good stop for the night. Very reasonable in price so we took chance. We booked family of 4 room but it was not actually available. Instead, they gave us two double rooms next to each other and it worked out fine. Parking was difficult, but once we checked in, the manager went with us to move car to good parking spot. Breakfast in morning was good: eggs, bread, yogurt, cereal. Manager was extremely helpful in suggesting us to visit Mavrakis Ouzo store. Very interesting and delicious ouzo and liquors. We could drive to Nafplio within 20 minutes. 20 minutes to Mycanae. Our rooms at hotel had great view of Argos' acropolis from balconies.

struttura restaurata di recente , camera con balcone con bella vista sulla piazza,purtroppo il bagno è piccolo e male ristrutturato ,radiatore del termo con ruggine e macchie di sporco,buono invece il ristorante. Difficoltà di raggiungere l'hotel per la viabilità e sensi unici. Trovasi in zona pedonale ,non ha parcheggio . Difficoltà di raggiungere l'hotel con i bagagli per qualche centinaia di metri .Non hanno un carrello per i bagagli per arrivare all'auto.

Very good location in the central square of Argos. Very nice view to the Larissa Castle, on the mountain above. Nice breakfast. No specific place for parking, so you have to find one in the surrounding streets, which are very narrow.
