The ‘spa’ bit is €40/hr private hire and downstairs, no windows so we gave that a skip. The room with balcony and sea view was lovely with a fridge but no kettle. We didn’t partake in €12 pp breakfast. There is a bar/restaurant on 5th floor with sea views and an amazing astroturf roof terrace on 6th floor with lots of seating -again a really lovely surprise. All in all I couldn’t work out why the Trip advisor reviews were so bad, we had a lovely time!" The breakfast was the best during our stay on Sardinia, fresh fruit, homemade savoury flans, eggs, preserves, etc. Pretty seating area. The shuttle to and from La Pelosa beach was a very useful option. It took about 15 minutes to walk the other way into Stintino for restaurants in the evening, (longer coming back as that was uphill!) The staff at reception were so helpful too, nothing was too much trouble. Well done Park Hotel Asinara. From the warm greetings from Anna and Tomasso we were led to our suite that was nestled amongst the natural preserve of trees native to Sardinia. The courtyard was tranquil and cozy and felt more like a community than a hotel. Our choice to purchase the half board was a great decision as both our breakfast and dinner were included in our stay. There we were greeted by the one and only Pietro and his wonderful staff and our waitress Cristina was a joy. Afterwards we had drinks outside and we were entertained by the beautiful voices of Marta and Alessia whose talent is nothing short of Broadway performances. Overall a spectacular experience!"
