Beautiful apartment, sea view, the second (and last) floor of the central block of the most recent residences of Racou, built in 2011. This T2 of 38 m2 includes an entrance, an independent WC, 1 main room with corner cooks entirely equipped with furniture and modern household appliances, a high table to take the meals, a sofa bed in 140, a big bathroom with washbowl double and walk-in shower, bedroom with large closet and bed 160. The terrace (11 m2 - facing East) is accessed by a large bay window and furniture is furnished with 4 outdoor armchairs which form a large sofa and a table-chairs set to take meals outside.

The main room and the bedroom are equipped with reversible air conditioners. The apartment is equipped with an internet box, a TV, a stereo and a DVD player. Appliances: Oven, Microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster.

A private parking space is accessible using a remote control provided.

The Racou is THE spot of the vermilion coast. This nook (in Catalan, Racou means nook) is a place apart. There is only one street that is a cul de sac, which explains the tranquility of the area. The beach is immediately accessible after crossing 4 lines of houses built in the sand! The entrance to the car park of our residence is right in front of the hotel-restaurant "Le Fanal". You will find all the necessary shops and restaurants in the one and only street.

To move around, forget the car! 1 € bus lines are available at the Racou entrance.

Do you like hiking? ... the chain of Albères is a few kms, the track leading to Mount Canigou is 1 hour drive. The village of Collioure is accessible by car but it is very difficult to park there. We recommend walking on the coastal path (3/4 hour walk) or by bus. The port of Argelès is a 20-minute walk away and the Argelès-Plage promenade is reachable on foot in 30 minutes.

To entertain you, in early July, the festival "Les Déferlantes" is held at Valmy Castle (a few km). In early September the Racou hosts the "Racou Jazz Festival". The "Racou Festival" will take place on July 20th. The Spanish border (Le Perthus) is 30 minutes away and the Salvador Dali Museum is 1 hour away by car.

Un petit coin de Paradis
Nous avons séjourné les 15 premiers jours d'août. Nous avons été reçu par Monsieur Favre le propriétaire, qui est quelqu'un au petit soin pour ses locataires. Appartement très très correct, rien ne manque. Très belle terrasse (petit coin sympa pour le petit déjeuné et l'apéro). Très propre. parking abrité et sécurisé. Le petit plus la mer à proximité et le calme que nous avons bien apprécié, tout en étant très proche d'Argelès. Merci à Monsieur Favre c'est une adresse à garder et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Mme Favre est très gentille aussi.
