We enjoyed our stay here. Quiet, beautiful, well appointed rooms and tasty breakfast. The bathroom was very stylish, modern and well thought out. The bed was so comfortable we are putting Villa Cilnia on our return list. Everyone we met here was friendly and helpful. We did a vineyard tour and learned a lot and tasted some really good wines.

Great experience
We were looking for a quiet place to stay and relax while we toured the local area. This is it. The hotel was great, staff were professional, cheerful and very friendly. The rooms were perfect, beds comfortable. The spa lounge area was great to relax in. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice Place, Maybe came too early in the season.
Nice place but the pool wasn't open. I realize it was still early and water would have been cold but we didn't even have access to the pool area at all. Only one other couple there on the first night and we were the only people there the second night. ALL staff left the premises for the night and gave us gate code. A little different being the only people on the property. Room was good but no air conditioning and it was hot inside during the day. Good breakfast and excellent wine. Overall not a bad experience for the price and I'm sure it would be better in season. I would still recommend it to friends/family.

Clean and comfortable with great wine
The hotel is close to Arezzo (within driving distance) which is great. Their restaurant wasn't open when we stayed which was a pity, as it made dinner a little inconvenient. The lady at reception was absolutely fantastic, and gave us some incredible recommendations for restaurants in the area.

Amazing villa to relax and enjoy Tuscany
We had a lovely experience in the villa and in the town of Arezzo. The only town that wasn't as touristic and had good food.

Gorgeous property - no wifi or restaurant
The hotel is beautiful and I would normally give it 5 stars. The linens and room was beautiful. The grounds are exceptional. The problem was no one told us the restaurant was not open so we had to drive every night. Our plan was to explore in the day and come back (tricky to find) and have dinner at the hotel. They also said they had wifi and we needed to work from there - the wifi was spotty at best. Had I known I would have made other arrangements. We left a day early due to these issues. The spa is beautiful so when the restaurant is operational and you can totally turn off and do not need wifi I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

Minilism in the Country
Most modern yet traditional place we've stayed during our tour of Tuscany/Umbria. Great secluded location with pool etc Look out. For the lake...an oasis of calm.

R D June 2014 3 day visit.
Quite good but not great. Positives: helpful reception staff and great wine tasting with local expert, quality establishment, good view ( spoilt by metal fence and prefab function building. Negatives: food good quality but very small portions, only 3 choices which did not change in our 3 days and then they ran out of one ( steak ) early on Saturday night, only net curtains on windows, and very small silly shaped pool quite unsuitable for swimming.

a luxurious spa - 15 minute ride to Arezzo
Villa Cilnia is a lovely place - a retreat away from Arezzo. The room was very nice, with fresh, new-feeling linens, a comfy bed, great bathroom and plenty of space to relax. Only issue was that we asked for a one-hour delay in checking out, and it was not granted. As best we could see, the Villa wasn't filled. Breakfast was good. Also, included was a whirlpool bath and shower, that we used. Didn't know to bring swimsuit, but staff kindly let us have a separate area with privacy and a smaller tub.

Calme, beauté des environs.... un plaisir !
Personnes de l’établissement très accueillantes, toujours là si besoin. Chambre pour famille avec très bons lits, propreté impeccable, bons restaurants alentours, salle de bain au top ! Wi-Fi un peu trop lent mais j’ai pu ne pas travailler ;-) petit-déjeuner ok. Les ptits français auraient aimé du pain frais.

Vi ankom etter hotellets åpningstid, men resepsjonisten var svært hyggelig og holdt hotellet åpent for oss slik at vi fikk sjekket inn. Utrolig trivelig betjening! Vakker plassering og den fineste utsikten. Frokosten var helt ypperlig, nydelig kaffe og vertinnen laget eggerøre. Vi benyttet også av spa-behandlingene. Helt vidunderlig opplevelse.

Fantastisk personal även om receptionens öppettider var aningen begränsade. Dock rekommenderades restauranger och bokades bord på ett alldeles förträffligt vis. En kortare tur på vingården erbjöds till ett fördelaktigt pris. Mysig pool och väldigt avslappnat, skulle Mycket väl kunna komma tillbaka. Det enda negativa var ett väldigt fult hus som byggts framför den pampiga huvudbyggnaden. Samt de katter som enligt personalen drabbats av en tumör och hade således blodiga sår på nosen.

Superbe endroit, charmant et calme. Malheureusement le temps était à la désolation et l'hôtel quasiment vide, ce qui nous donnait l'impression de fin du monde. Cet endroit très proche d'Arezzo et en pleine campagne mérite votre détour, vous ne serez pas déçu.

Modernes schickes Landhotel
Wir übernachteten 7 Nächte in dem schönen Hotel. Es ist sauber, modern sowie ruhig gelegen. Einzig die vorgelegte Liste mit Regeln war beim Einchecken etwas abschreckend. Allerdings dienen die meisten doch nur der eigenen Sicherheit (keine Glasflaschen am Pool, nicht bei Gewitter schwimmen etc.) und andere Regeln, wie Badekappe im Pool, werden auch vom Personal eher entspannt gesehen. Die Mitarbeiter waren immer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Service war allgemein prima. Es gibt auch einen kostenlosen Fahrradverleih und WLAN fast flächendeckend auf dem ganzen Gelände. Auch das dazugehörige Spa ist empfehlenswert (tolle Massage!) und im Hotel-Restaurant Mecenate haben wir an 3 Abenden sehr lecker gegessen. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker - für deutsche Verhältnisse vielleicht ein bisschen zu wenig Auswahl, aber man wird satt.

Endroit fantastique
Nous étions de passage dans cet hôtel (1 nuit). Après une journée de route, pouvoir se rafraîchir dans la piscine, c'est vraiment très agréable. Nous avons dîné sur la terrasse de l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner vraiment bien achalandé.

Super skønt
Det mest fantastiske sted, desværre havde vi kun 1 enkelt overnatning. Super service og dejligt at kunne låne cykler så vi kunne komme rundt i området i det skønne vejr. Eneste minus var,at morgenmaden først blev serveret fra kl. 8:00 og vi skulle tidligere afsted. Men ellers alt i topklasse.

Ottimo hotel......ma......
Hotel in posizione molto tranquilla, ottimo il ristorante, la pecca più grande è che la colazione viene servita dopo le ore 8,00 grandissimo disagio per chi è in viaggio per lavoro. Peccato che la piscina era inagibile, lo staff per sopperire a questo disagio ha offerto a titolo gratuito 1 ora di accesso alla SPA.
