Our second trip to Fattoria Il Cipresso - a wonderful place to stay and Alberto and all his staff could not be more welcome and friendly. We’re looking forward to our third trip soon!!!

We loved EVERYTHING - this is a beautiful place in every way. Welcome treats, a lovely pool, gorgeous rooms. Alberto is a perfect host & you’ll be friends forever by the time you leave. The onsite restaurant is wonderful & it's especially relaxing to savor breakfast outdoors. Honestly can't wait to return!

Awesome renovation of a 500 year old villa. All of food was from the farm and was amazing. Alberto was very accommodating. We had a wonderful time and want to return with the entire family.

The most fabulous B& B anywhere in the world
This bed & breakfast was the best ever that we have stayed at. Alberto and his family treated us like their own family. The facility is outstanding. The friendliness is exceptional, the amenities are excellent. You could not find another B& B anywhere in the world that would be better. The accommodations and staff are the best you will find anywhere. The food was extremely tasty and well prepared and abundant. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. This is one of a kind B & B

Excellent all around. Great little bed and breakfast, only 7 rooms. Small, charming with great service. You feel like you’re on a well maintained farm. I typically stay in large hotels, so was a bit nervous, but it exceeded expectations. Breakfast was excellent, all home made. A bit out of the way, 25 mnt drive to arezzo, but we’ll worth it.

Wonderful experience. Alberto is delightful. The accommodations were extremely clean, large, very comfortable, in a beautiful setting, and a bottle of the farm’s wine awaiting us in our room. Dinner was fabulous! One of the best meals we had in Italy. The on-site restaurant is popular with the locals so make a reservation when you book. (We weren’t aware of this but Alberto worked us in.) We would definitely come back and spend more time here!

The residence was beautiful. The staff were amazing. Alberto, the owner, works night and day to make sure everyone is happy. The breakfast outside in the morning was heaven. The food is delicious and there are special dishes every night in the restaurant. You can eat outside in the “glass gazebo” or outside under the stars. The gardens are beautiful and there are beautiful roses everywhere. Christina who does everything(picks baskets of flowers, does housekeeping and serves dinner) is always cheerful and welcoming. You feel as if you are in a family. It is close to major sites like Cortona,Montepulciano and Pienza or Assisi in Umbria but of all we preferred Cortona.i would highly recommend it for a quiet vacation or central base in the area.

Alberto's welcome and attention to detail was superb. The property is lovely, although it would be more fun in the summer when the pool is open. The food in the Trattoria is outstanding, and the food products I tried that were made at the farm, wonderful. I'd recommend this to anyone. The only slight mar was the lack of a proper sign and a slightly confusing entrance. It might be a good idea if whoever confirmed a reservation, included specific instructions. Googlemaps sent me to the Farm not the Hotel.

Absolutely beautiful place in Tuscany
Absolutely phenomenal place. A little tricky finding. GPS put us at the delivery door for their wine operations. Back track to round about and saw sign for hotel. No big deal. Excellent fresh food from farm for dinner at great prices. And the breakfast that was included was fresh from the farm and so much we could not finish. The hosts are very enjoyable to visit with. Our room was spotless with a large bathroom and fantastic shower. My wife and I plan to return next year so the she can take advantage of cooking classes they offer. Great place to stay while in the Tuscanny region

Organic farm with boutique hotel and restaurant
Don’t expect by hotel 5 star “luxury” but expect 7 star hospitality, quality and originality. Forget “normal” hotels. This is a genuine Tuscan multi-generational family farm experience and we felt simply sad to leave, this is how wonderful our stay was. It was like visiting a loving super-hospital family. Top class acomodation (5rooms!) and home made food.

Delightful!
Amazing place, great host, excellent food. Nestling in a quiet location just off the main road between Cortona and Arezzo this little gem is a perfect place to relax and enjoy, Italian style. The host is charming, helpful and courteous. Nothing is too much trouble. The food and wine are of an equally high standard. All in all very highly recommended.

Fantastic place to stay and dine! Our host, Alberto, was terrific and gave us a tour of the winery. The agriturismo is recently restored so the rooms and bathrooms are pristine and very comfortable. We dined at the restaurant and it is the best food we have had on our trip-mostly home grown and simply delicious. The tagliolini with recently hunted truffles was divine! Alberto and his cooking staff are passionate about their products and food. We highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Adequate stay in a good location
Overall good value with adequate amenities. Only suggestions for upgrade concern the air conditioning in the rooms and the breakfast. They need to install better AC units. The AC works through the floor and will not satisfy those that like cool room temperatures. They also need to get a good commercial coffe maker for cappuccino and espresso. Whoever is picking out the fruit needs to make sure it is not sour. Overall a very pleasant staff and stay.

Beautiful villa and wonderful restaurant.
We stayed for 3 nights in July. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable (especially with the air-conditioning on hot days). The villa is in a quiet location, with peaceful grounds for relaxing, and a lovely pool that we used daily. We ate at the villa's restaurant nightly as the menu was very diverse and the specials varied daily. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and their attention to detail appreciated. It's centrally located and only 15 minutes from Arezzo's sights. We'd certainly stay again.

Fabulous B&B out of the city!
Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Alberto and staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect! Restful, quiet spot and so relaxing. The restaurant food was the best we had in all our travels in Italy and it was wonderful to have a great breakfast served at our table each morning. We can't recommend this spit more highly.

We would go back anytime. The only mistake we made was booking one night. We should have stayed longer. The restaurant in the grounds of the hotel is a real gem and very reasonably priced. The food is sourced locally, some of it from the owners farm. Don't miss it. The only problem we had was in locating the hotel. Our sat nav led us a merry dance before we abandoned it for a map. The hotel is in a small town on the road from Arretzo to Cortona. The town is Rigutino. Heading for Cortona the road you want is on the left half way up the Main Street.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like valued guests by all of the staff. Alberto was incredibly passionate and proud of his hotel. The hotel is tucked away in a beautiful and peaceful location - excellent for exploring Tuscany then relaxing by the pool to recuperate ready for the next day.

Amazing place, in the country walking distance to town. Luxurious rooms with amazing rooms. The food in the restaurant was some of the best we have ever had, the staff amazing, each one greeting us and introducing themselves. The owner, Alberto made us feel like a guest in his home. We will be back on our next visit to Italy

This is a wonderful place. Family owned and operated, you'll feel right at home. The rooms are quite large and comfortable. The onsite restaurant serves excellent food. We hope to return some day.

Lovely hotel with only a few rooms decorated in Tuscan style but with all the mod cons, including modern bathroom. Underfloor cooling/heating. fresh flowers in room every day. Lovely swimming pool. Amazing staff who are very helpful. Breakfast served in adjacent building - delicious food.

Amazing service from the very attentive owner and his staff. The restaurant provides fantastic locally grown and seasonal food which can easily beat high-end restaurants in the city. The most memorable stay in Italy this summer.

What a great place to stay! Very helpful and attentive staff (including the owner Alberto). Great attention to detail. The little extras always show the difference between 4 star and 5 star and this is definitely 5 star. We stayed in the room with a terrace/balcony. Very spacious, clean and well appointed. The pool area is super and the on site restaurant just perfect. We have visited Italy more than 25 times. This will be very hard to beat.

This is a wonderful B & B that is really top notch. The rooms are very comfortable with every amenity. A very quality establishment. The breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful restaurant. Your host is very gracious a and will attend to your every need. This is also a great location to explore Tuscany. Close to Cortona and Sienna and Arezzo.
