The living areas in this single-storey property consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, and a fridge with ice box, a dining area with seating for four guests, and a sitting area with TV and a woodburning stove. There is one double bedroom with a sofa bed and en-suite shower room. Outside, there is a shared front courtyard with furniture and a rear patio with furniture and a barbecue, as well as off-road parking. Within 1 mile you will find a shop, and within 0.9 miles, a pub and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Miles of sandy beach and scenic drives taking in mountains and coast are on your doorstep. Town: In the southern part of County Tipperary, near the Knockmealdown Mountains, on the River Suir, lies a little settlement called Ardfinnan. The village has a lovely open green, a few nice pubs, a store, and Ardfinnan Castle, an outstanding Norman building that dominates the settlement's centre with majesty. The bustling town of Clonmel is eight miles distant and is located close to the Tipperary and Waterford border. The town boasts a variety of stores, pubs, and restaurants to enjoy, but Magners Cider is arguably what makes it most well-known. History-rich Clonmell is the only town in Ireland that was able to repel Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army during his siege of Ireland in the 17th century. The residents were evacuated to safety utilising General O'Neill's strategies. With the majestic Comeragh Mountains serving as a striking backdrop, the neighbouring Nire Valley provides several chances for cycling and strolling. The M8 highway is not far from Ardfinnan, making it simple to travel to County Cork and Dublin. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man hört wirklich nur die Vögel zwitschern und den Hahn (direkt hinter dem Haus) krähen. Diese Ruhe ist wunderbar zum Entspannen. Das Haus ist ein altes Steinhaus, das relativ kühl ist. Wir haben uns ein Wärmekissen mitgebracht, sonst wäre es definitiv zu kalt gewesen. Eine weitere Decke im Bett oder eine Wolldecke fürs Sofa wären wünschenswert. Die Einrichtung ist sonst sehr rustikal, aber soweit alles vorhanden, was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Von der Ferienwohnung sind es nur ca. 15 Minuten zum nächsten großen Supermarkt (Tesco Extra) in Clonmel, auch Pubs und ein Take Away sind in der Nähe. Auch Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto sind von dort aus gut erreichbar. ##### Caroline R. Being out in nature was great. Be sure to bring an extra blanket in the winter time as it's definitely chilly, but the view and the quiet is idyllic.
