"We stayed in the Casita de madera for two months from January to March, i.e. during some of the coldest months of the year. The open fireplace contributes a lot to the cosiness factor but as a heating mechanism is not that efficient, so very glad there was also an electric radiator, which in the coldest weeks was struggling to keep us warm. But it is a very cozy house with everything you need, except an oven. It is dark, especially this time of the year, where the sun does not catch it at all...

"Really relaxing stay in the mountains. The house was really quirky which we all loved & the small pool was perfect in the height of summer. The views from the property are breathtaking. It’s situated in a beautiful white washed town with several cafes / restaurants. Initial issue with access but was quickly resolved by the owner ( who hadn’t been aware of our booking). "We expected the property to be a lot bigger and with much more light/windows as per the photo on the VRBO website. As it turned out, this was a much smaller, dark and rustic house. "Authentic but modern apartment with loads of character right in the middle of the old town. We loved our stay here. We felt right at home. The apartment was spacious and had all the items you would need to make your stay comfortable. We loved the decor. "Los Naranjos is the most wonderful place to stay. Beautiful scenery, very relaxing & peaceful…bird song is virtually all you will hear. Ideally you need a car, the online map showed it on the edge of town so we were rather bemused on arrival….however, Alex is the perfect host, so kind & helpful, nothing is too much trouble, he arranged for us to have a designated driver so we were able to get out & about. Garcin has a good variety of bars & restaurants, many are very good quality & value....
