We had a brief but amazing stay. The facilities are impeccably manicured and designed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We felt welcome, relaxed and enjoyed the pool, beautiful rooms and restaurant. The property is perfectly located to visit nearby wineries and amazing Pienza and Montepulciano. I highly recommend this to families and couples.

The property is absolutely beautiful no question about that it is around 5 km from the closest town. The only down side was the food. The menu offered limited options and after you arrived you don't want to drive anywhere. The food was not that tasteful and the portions extremely small.

The decor of the place and atmosphere was very nice. The location looks beautiful in the pictures but in reality it is not exactly that - it’s located on a very noisy road and a noise of passing by cars is unbearable day and night ! The area outside was also outdated and needs un upgrade, to my opinion. The room was very nice but way too small for two people. Bertina is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Tenuta Santo Pietro was by far the best experience we have had in Toscana region. The hotel is quiet, has a historic feel, amazing food and is close to Montepuciano and the the neighboring towns of Val D'Orcia. Most of all the staff are extremely nice and friendly. We have stayed in a lot of resorts and hotels across the world and have never been treated as well as we were by Bertina (Manager). Bertina treated us (and most guests) like friends and was a delite to get to know. She would help us with anything we needed. Advice on where to visit in the area, or anything you needed during your stay. If I could rate this hotel for 6 or more starts I would. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Montepuciano.

Perfection in Pienza
This was everything you could imagine for a stay in Tuscany. The entire staff was so accommodating and made sure that everything we wanted or needed was perfect. The meals, wine tour and bike riding were spectacular and the property made for an ideal setting for our stay. We certainly look forward to a return visit.

When I saw this property online, it appeared to be in a very quiet, country location. When we arrived, we were very surprised to see it is RIGHT on the main busy road. It is very loud and not as “serene” as it seemed. We were in Room #8 which faces the main road and it was hard to sleep. The traffic is so loud starting around 6am-7am. I tried closing the shutters and it helped a little bit, but not much. I explained to the hotel that I had a horrible sleep and asked to move to another room further from the road. Their solution was to move me to a “deluxe” room but I would have to pay an extra €50 per night! I already spent a lot of money to stay there and I also ate at their restaurant every night (€70-€110) each time so I was hoping for a better solution. I did not want to pay more for a good nights sleep. Traffic aside, you can hear the kitchen below and you can hear all of the conversations because the walls are so thin. We stayed at many country houses and this was by far the loudest. I would not visit again. The good things about this hotel is that it’s beautiful. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is delicious! Compliments to the chef! (... and Lyda) who is amazing. The wine and olive oil is also delicious! Tenuta Santo Pietro is a beautiful place but it is just too loud for us for a “relaxing vacation”.

Great estate with exceptional service!
Tenuto Santo Pietro is a wonderful estate with lovely views and a great cottage feel to it. Service is wonderful and we were very well looked after by Gorgio who manages the property. Food, wine and a beautiful Tuscan vibe made it an incredibly relaxing place to be. The rooms are spacious and are simple but elegant and the general facilities are great with a table tennis table, outdoor dining areas and a lovely pool and sunbathing area. If you have a car, which is probably advised in this area, then this estate is within 5-10 minutes drive to several major towns in the area such as Pienza and Montepulciano.

My boyfriend and I just spent the most wonderful three days at Tenuta Santo Pietro. The staff was incredibly friendly, the property is beautiful and clean, and I had one of my best meals there! I cannot recommend this place enough. I hope to return one day.

Under the Tuscan Sun...
From the check-in and subsequent wine tasting and pleasant conversations throughout the stay to Guiseppe for making every one feel at home every day and his constant attention to making sure our stay there at Santo Pietro and the area was so very full with local flavor.even guiding us to restaurants and including me on a truffle hunt.and then facilitating the purchase and shipment of their own wine (make sure you try the Viper)..It is situated between Montepulciano and Pienza which offers the best of wine and cheese and the view towards Pienza behind the pool area above the vineyards is one you never tire for..i was lucky to take daily swims in the pool which was surrounded by mounds of blooming rosemary and lavendar... as our temperatures were in the 80s in April-May..Dinner in the restaurant is a great ending to whatever day you spend in the Val'Dorcia..either quietly inside or outside in the spacious and a daily apertivo can be arranged as well and Layla does a great wine tasting which is free...Our room was rustic but modernized and the bathrobes and daily bottled water service was much appreciated as well as the retractable screens over the windows..which allowed us to remain bug free and leave our windows open when it wasn't so warm out. All in all truly a small piece of heaven but a big slice of tuscany there at Tenuta Santo Pietro

We enjoyed our stay very much. The inn was warm and inviting, and the staff very kind. We even ran into one of the staff purely by chance while fighting with one of the difficult Italian gas station self-service stations on our way out of the area, and she very kindly helped us sort it out! The manager is also very attentive, going out of his way to provide suggestions and advice for visiting the area. The hotel itself was comfortable and peaceful. We'd definitely recommend.

Excellent location for exploring Tuscany
We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights so got to know the area and hotel well. The location is excellant for exploring the very best Tuscany can offer. The owner and staff were very helpful and always on hand to assist. We also travelled with our 19 month daughter and the hotel was very child friendly. Overall I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel. Great stay.

Charming Tuscan Lodging
Seven members of my family stayed at Tenuta Santo Pietro for two nights in June. It was a terrific stay. Owner Giusseppe indicated that it was a 13th century structure that he reworked to create comfortable and charming accomodations. The common areas were comfortable, and there was seating available on a covered back patio with a grand view of the Tuscan hillside. Gardens surrounded the property, with blooming lavender and other flowers, as well as fruits and vegetables that were used in the meals that were prepared onsite. Dinner was delicious, and a nice breakfast buffet was available as well. The rooms were very quaint and nicely appointed, and they were comfortable as well. Giuseppe was exceptionally helpful with our plans. He made phone calls to arrange visits to nearby restaurants and winery tours. Very kind and personable. The staff was also very friendly, and they were good bartenders as well!

Relaxing, beautiful stay in perfect location
A lovely relaxing break in the most beautiful and convenient location between pienza and montepulciano. The property is lovely, informal and very chilled. The pool is a dream - it has the best views. The team is great and have lots of great recommendations. It's not cheap but we really enjoyed it - felt a bit like having your own place but with hotel perks.

Beyond all expectations!
We had already been in Italy for a week, traveling through Tuscany and Umbria, when we stayed here for one evening. We wish we could've stayed much longer. What a slice of heaven! The countryside with views of Pienza are gorgeous, The agriturismo is beautiful with amazing rooms. The grounds are lovely. The pool was a welcome attraction. The dinner on site was awesome. We want to go back!

Perfect choice!
We chose to stay here for three nights to explore Pienza and Montepulciano. Giuseppe and his staff are amazing and based on their advice we visited thermal springs in Vigno Bagno which we had no previous idea about and also la Foce- totally stunning. Amazing breakfast (home made jams/breads etc) and the hotel is a family home that has been restored beautifully. The pool area is breathtaking and the smell of lavender wafts over you as you sip wine and gaze on Pienza's skyline.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. Our experience here was overall stellar! We felt welcomed from the start during check in. The owner Guiseppe helped make all of our eating reservations outside of the hotel and even booked our spa day. The room and the grounds were everything you see in the pictures and more. We strolled around the grounds and were in awe by the beautiful vineyards and Tuscan landscape. We also ate dinner at the restaurant on site and enjoyed the included breakfast as well. The food and service were as if we were at home. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

A Must Stay Tuscan Villa!
My wife and I took our three adult children (27, 25 and 22) to Tuscany to experience wine tasting and the beautiful medevil cities of Montalcino, Pienza and Multipulciano. The hotel is ideally situated just a few minutes to drive from Pienza and about 30 minutes from Montalcino (to the east) and Multipulciano (to the west). The hotel is a beautiful Tuscan villa that has been recently renovated with an awesome staff (Leda the cook makes Picci with breadcrumbs and olive oil that is to die for) and beautiful gardens. The owner Giuseppe speaks great English and was our tour guide for a day of visiting Montalcino and several wineries. He was awesome by taking us to great places but also helping me to negotiate great prices on some wonderful wines. My wife and I travel extensively and we never stay at the same hotel twice. Much to my surprise, my wife said to me before we checked out "this is a hotel I want to come back to" This is the highest compliment she ever gave a hotel! I can't wait to return.

There is nothing I could fault about Tenuta Santa Puetro. It is perfect in every way it is 5* in comfort, luxury, cleanliness, with the loveliest and most helpful people, everything., just perfect The food is of the highest quality and my only regret is that we could not have stayed longer than the three nights we stayed there... Even after three nights I felt I had found a little piece of heaven and know I will return there. Would I recommend others to stay there ...in a heartbeat, this is somewhere you will stay and want to go back to ...don't hesitate to book going here you will not regret it...

Beautiful little hotel that was well-situated and had a great mix of rustic décor and modern comforts. You can tell that great care was taken here. We only stayed 2 nights here but it was incredibly comfortable, the pool area very nice and clean, and the food/wine were delicious. We were very happy with our stay. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area and wish we had stayed longer!

Beautiful property with gorgeous, cool swimming pool (greatly appreciated on hot Tuscan days!) Very clean, very nice, accommodating staff, beautiful views, comfortable common areas, just such a nice place. Pillows very soft and linens crisp but the mattress was too firm (we seem to be having this problem all over Italy!) The dinner was not as great as expected but still good. We would recommend to anyone & go back in a heartbeat!

Definitely Worth a Look
Guiseppe and Natalia (the owners) were very nice and helpful, often recommending the best way to drive to certain towns, where to eat, as well as some hidden gems in the area. Located in a beautiful area, but definitely need a car. A pleasure to stay there.

Rolling hills of Tuscany
We had a great stay here. The staff were all friendly and fun to chat with. The food and "wine" were all delicious. Great job by the chefs and staff on having a nice meal daily if you choose. We made it a routine each day to be back from touring the area to have dinner here. There are lots of good restaurants in other towns, but after a long day of exploring it was nice to come back to the B&B to rest and chat with the staff while enjoying some great wine and food they have to offer. Try there home-brewed Lemoncello... best I've had in Italy so far. I haven't seen any better "post card" views of country sides than this area offers as well. Sole, Leda, Anna, Lucia thank you for your great attitude and friendly attention.
