"Everything is perfect at Aura del Mar. We prefer the Superior Suite because of the extra room and the elevated view. The pool area is excellent with plenty of shade. Another few steps and you are on the beach! The restaurant has amazing food. We loved the nightly happy hour on the sunset viewing deck. Abel treats his customers like family. Roxy at the front desk and Carlos who books excursions are both helpful and making every guest feel at home."

"If you want a fancy hotel with every amenity, this is probably not for you. However, if you want a clean, sweet family-run hotel, with a fantastic location (6 or 7 minute walk to Zihua Bay beach, tons of shopping & restaurants close by) this is a great value for the money. There are lots of spacious common areas to relax, and some rooms open out onto a little balcony. The family is very nice and accommodating, and I enjoyed my stay here. "
