"We enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and well located. There were some mice running about and we did find droppings in the bed, although the house was otherwise very clean and well appointed. We would have liked some coffee left in the cabinet at least for the first morning and the bedroom could use some hooks for clothes or coats. "A beautiful and stylishly appointed property in a quiet, green canal side location. The lounge, kitchen and outside terrace were particularly spacious. No problem finding a place to park on the street. I explored the region looking for a house to buy and Lormont is a great location to reach the sea towards Andernos or Libourne and Saint Emilion without facing much traffic. "The property was spacious and clean. We were shown round by the owner. The pool was lovely and the garden very private. The area is quiet but only a few minutes walk to tram right into central Bordeaux. Trams and buses frequent and cheap. Bordeaux is an amazing beautiful city. Everyone friendly and most people sprak some English which was a bonus as our French isn't great."

"Wonderful location and hosts, Collet and Christian are lovely people that treated us wonderfully. The location of the gite is so quiet and peaceful. It is perfect for our 2 small dogs. We will go back again. The only slight downside, we could do with a sofa instead of basket chairs."
