The 4200++sqft Ranch House has 8 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms, with a combined & open floor plan w/Living/Dining/Kitchen together for a relaxed family gathering space. The home includes access to 2 different style swimming pools (plus a hot tub). It sits on a 1000 acre ranch w/ artisan spring fed creeks, a 20 acre Spring fed lake filled with a plethora of fish. Activities include fishing, a full basketball/tennis court, sand volleyball court, nature/hiking trails, kayaking, outdoor yard games, campfire/fire-pit. We enjoy sharing the Ranch with many farm animals; cows, ponies, donkeys, goats, pigs, ducks and chickens. We have a great assortment of trees that include; Oak, pecan, cottonwood, cypress and they are perfect for sitting under enjoying the cool breeze. There are nature spots galore to enjoy all around the ranch with multiple ponds, creeks & waterfalls plus an abundance of deer, turkey, squirrels, raccoons, armadillos & other animals!

We did a last minute booking for our 14U Nationals basketball tournament down in Franklin, Tx. The memories that were made with these kids will last forever. From the moment the gate open to the Ranch for our arrival until the time is close behind us on our departure was an experience within itself. The constant laughter with everyone made the experience amazing. Many of these young kids had never fished a day in their lives. By the end of the trip they were petting baby pigs, baby goats, horses & cows. I would rate this place 10 and I'm sure we will be back again. Zane and Kristi were fantastic host and made sure we had everything needed.

We gathered as a large family for my grandmothers funeral. Instead of sadness we experienced healing, love and countless memories surrounding by nature, animals and adventure. This weekend, this home will never be forgotten. If I could give this beautiful space a 20 star rating I would!!!

This property was so great for our family. There were 20 adults and 10 children and the house was perfect. The kitchen was large and fully equipped. It was nice to have most all the rooms with en-suite baths. The grounds felt like summer camp. Zane was a great host and was very accommodating. I highly recommend to any family. We hope to come back again.

A little piece of Heaven!

What an incredible weekend! The ranch house….beautiful, cozy and well-appointed! The animals….what a treat!!! Baby goats, baby chicks, mini horses, pot belly pigs, cows and a wild pig who thinks he is a goat!! Just WONDERFUL!! The amenities…camp fire, corn hole, volleyball, pickleball, swimming in the creek…..SO MUCH FUN! If you have a big group of family members right I don’t do it yet or corporate but colleagues,this place cannot be beat!! Don’t miss out! It is truly a piece of Heaven!!

A Thanksgiving to remember!

I can't begin to express how wonderful this property was. From the springs and the ponds to the tasteful antiques and country decorations in the ranch house, this was such an amazing property! Our large group had so much room and it was so wonderful to have a common area for us all to gather. The kitchen was well appointed and the appliances were great! The 8 1/2 bathrooms made all of us getting ready so easy. all eight of the bedrooms were very well appointed and yet still had great room to be able to maneuver in. The animals were so much fun and our kids absolutely loved them. There were so many great areas around the ranch to take pictures around and just enjoy the settings. Fishing in the ponds was so much fun! This is definitely one of our most loved VRBO's yet! The check-in and checkout process was very smooth and easy. We are very grateful for our hosts for making our stay extra special!

AMAZING LOCATION

We had an amazing stay at the Ranch during the 2024 eclipse! The owners were great with communicating, flexible and willing to help us out throughout our whole stay. They were helpful and knowledgeable and we would definitely stay here again! I can't say enough good things about Zane, Kristi and Annika. Awesome place for families with so many things to do. Highly recommend for any family/friends/company retreat!

Sibling Family Christmas

Every year we rent a house for our family Christmas. There is 27 to 32 of us, so finding a house big enough is often a challenge. This time there was 27 of us ranging from 2 to 59. I can honestly say this was the nicest house we have ever rented. Zane took great care of us and they think of everything. You’d be surprised how many places are missing pots and pans, knives, mixing bowls, etc., this kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There was a huge fire pit and plenty of wood ready for s’mores. We grilled steaks on a huge grill (propane included). A huge bonus is that each room has it own thermostat, so I could stay warm and my brother could stay cold. There is plenty of pastures/woods to stomp in and animals to feed. The kids have already asked to go back. Thank you for wonderful memories.

Amazing property

This was the 2nd time this summer we have rented this property to take campers on an overnight trip. The house is amazing and has everything you need! The creek-fed pool is relaxing and beautiful. The animals are fun to watch and pet! Owners were super accommodating and helpful.

Holly Jolly Christmas 2021

Our visit was about celebrating the holidays with Family! The house was very comfortable and clean and meet all our needs. We spend hours around the fire pit and even roasted hot dogs one night . The weather turned cold but that did not stop the fun.. We played cards and games inside on the big dining table! Kitchen was well stocked. The grounds were beautiful and were well kept and we really enjoyed all the animals on the property. Zane the owner was very helpful and shared the history of the property with us which I found interesting! This is one property we will come to again! Janet

Zane and Kristi are just amazing. Supremely accommodating, superb communications, over the top RESOLUTION to any request in 10 minutes (I think Zane likes to drive fast), this absolutely beautiful property. was perfect for our family reunion/Thanksgiving retreat. Ranch Heaven

The week we spent at Spring Lakes Ranch was perfect for our family. The huge house had everything we might need to be super comfortable and prepare good meals. With two washers and dryers the large group’s laundry was taken care of. Zane and Kristi couldn’t have been better hosts. They always went above and beyond to accommodate all of our group and we had many requests. Highlights of our stay were bottle feeding the baby goats, feeding the donkeys, ponies, goats and chickens, fishing, and swimming in the spring fed natural pool. But everyday was full of many adventures and this property is just amazing. Wish I could share some of the super photos that we took.

Family Fun Week

This was our 17th year to gather our family: our 6 children with their spouses and children and enjoy a week together remembering growing up together and the mischief involved in a large family. The housing was awesome. The acreage fascinating. Our grandchildren fell in love with the animals. Several of our kids and grandchildren loved the fishing. The girls loved the close proximity to West, TX and Waco, TX for a day trip. Our youngest grandchild kept asking if we could only stay longer. Thank you Zane for fielding all our questions and being patient with us and a huge thanks for the extra mowing for our Kubb game. It was the best. NOTE: If you are looking for a place to build memories and just relax, I highly recommend this place.

Great Weekend

Was a wonderful experience and everyone had a good time. The younger kids enjoyed the baby goats and miniature horses. The adults had excellent luck fishing. Will definitely want to go back! I gave a score of 4 stars on accuracy of advertising because it doesn’t say you will have to share a small swimming pool with another large family.
