Private patio located next to beach path-enjoy a walk & hear tree top breezes, trickling water & maybe see playful bunnies & baby deer as you make your way down to the white sands beach. The Space: Parking is offered right outside this ground floor unit. Step inside to a spacious bedroom with tv, a bathroom with step in shower/tub and sink with cabinets and space for your personal toiletries. A wet bar is situated across from the desk. Large open floorplan offers dining area, oversized living room with cross seating to play games or watch the large tv above the fireplace. Kitchen is upgraded to include stainless steel appliances. Mid-size refrigerator with separate top freezer, microwave, stove, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker and toaster. (NOTE: most 1b offer only a kitchenette!) The private first floor balcony off the living room offers views of the canyon. Just outside is the walking path that leads down to the ocean with beach access. This building is connected to the main lodge where you will find Sanderling's restaurant & bar, the indoor fireplace with roundabout seating and the outdoor firepit-Enjoy the best resort Aptos, CA has to offer! Guest Access: PROPERTY ACCESS: The property has an electronic door lock that is accessible anytime during stay. We will send out the check in instructions the day before you arrive. On the resort you will find The Seascape Park, Numerous walking paths, The Sanderlings Restaurant and bar, the North Bluff Pool and Spa, and a full gym (gym access with additional fee paid on-site). Across the street from the resort, you will find Seascape Village which offers restaurants, cafes and shops. The PGA rated Seascape Golf Course is only 5 minutes from the resort. In the Heart of Aptos just over three miles or 10-minute drive you will discover what happens when the redwoods meet the sea. All on-site amenities are accessible by walking paths or if preferred by car. To access the beach at Seascape there is a walking path next to the main lodge that leads down to the ocean where you will have beach access. NOTE: the walk out is the same way back UP to the resort. The Seascape Village is just across from the Resort and can be accessed by walking. The quaint town of Aptos is just over three miles away-about a 10-minute drive. Capitola Village is about 8 miles away and can be reached by car in less than 15 minutes. Other Things to Note: There are no daily housekeeping services. The property is cleaned before arrival and after departure. We provide hand soap, dish soap, dish towels, hand towels, bath towels, wash cloths, paper towels and toilet paper. 3-in-1 shower wash is provided. A cleaning kit is located under the kitchen sink for cleaning up spills or tidying up during your stay (please do not use premier towels or linens to wipe up spills). We provide a well-stocked condo for your stay including a kitchen complete with pots, pans and dishes and utensils - everything you will need for cooking a hearty breakfast, lunch break or family dinner after a day of adventure. We supply Keurig coffee maker with pods & supplies to get your vacation started off right. Pool towels, as well as additional bedding supplies can be found in the bedroom closets. Concierge services, front desk services, access to staff driven golf carts are not available. The fitness facility and bike rentals available for an additional fee (to be paid on-site). $250 bonfires & $75 smores packages booked through the front desk are not available to private renters, but you are welcome to build your own in the sand (Seascape is one of the few California beaches that still allows for open fires)- supplies can be purchased across the street at Seascape Market or any other grocery store in the area. With this location, it was mostly a place to sleep, shower, change, and get back out to the beach/pool/trails. Very comfortable with a family of four - two in the bedroom, two on the fold-out couch bed. Check-in was seamless, check out was the easiest I've ever had on a VRBO (start the dishwasher on your way out!), host was responsive and anticipated most of our questions with well-timed communications. This unit initially got my attention because it is a ground floor unit and we are traveling with my elderly mother. As I compared it to other units, I noticed that this unit has a lot more windows than other units, so we booked it. I'm so glad we did, it was perfect for us. The front door is at street level but it's actually above the parking garage so the kitchen, dining room and living room windows and balcony make you feel you are on the second floor. There's lots of natural light and greenery, and the kitchen looks down at the street which is fun for people watching. We loved it so much, we booked an extra night while we were there. We got lots of use of the kitchen and fireplace. (Even though we stayed in June, it was pretty cold due to the fog.) We highly recommend this unit.The property manager was also very responsive and gave us 5 star service! ##### Lisa R. Unit is very spacious and is centrally located; close to many paths and within walking distance to everything. Is an end unit with many windows for daylight but no ground level patio with direct view of ocean. ##### Kaori A. Overall the resort was lovely but this particular unit and manager I strongly warn against. We checked in to a filthy, uncleaned unit- slept in bed, dirty dishes and towels...when we called they were unapologetic and said it must have been missed getting cleaned, we had to leave and come back. So we couldn't get back in until almost 3 hrs after check in time. When we came back there were dirty dishes with food still on them in the cabinets and drawers. The fireplace AND heater were broken. Apparently this was known and never disclosed to us. We only had a space heater. The management company was unapologetic and made no attempt to rectify any of these issues. This is my first ever negative review for anything but must warn others. ##### Heather D. We liked it was a large size unit and that it had a private patio. The bed was not very firm, probably needs to be upgraded to a new one, white linen would make it feel more like a resort The patio door was very hard to open and close, there were ants on the kitchen counter unfortunately. We have stayed at this resort at least 5 times this year. This was the 1st in this unit. It says it sleeps 5, but when we pulled out the couch bed it reeked of mold and urine. There’s mold on the under portion of the mattress & a huge stain on the top of it. The blankets were dirty with a brown substance & smelled like they hadn’t been washed. The sheets also had stains. There was only a full size bed for my husband, myself & my 2 boys. There were sleep mats in the closet, but those are ripped open with dirty foam exposed. When we contacted the property manager they responded by dropping off clean sheets & a blanket…so my kids could sleep on the floor?! Also disappointing during this stay was that the pools were not heated as they were working on the heating system. One of the reasons we love staying at Seascape is because it’s fun to be able to come up from the beach once the sun goes down & still enjoy the pool & hot tubs. When things are up and running, this is a great resort. Find another unit because there are some really nice ones that are well maintained and clean. The Seascape property is in a great location & provides wonderful get away. ##### Clint & Christina S. We had a great time. The condo is located within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The owner was awesome with how quickly she answered my messages. I would stay here again.
